Part 1
"It's only the Beginning.."

...."Thousands of years, before life exists...before
the planet itself exists...5 powerful, yet lonely, dragons lives and roams
freely. Their leader, Paladin, is the most powerful dragon of them all.
One day, each dragon starts to work together...the Earth dragon uses his
powerful rock magic and creates the planet....the Fire dragon uses his flames
and created the sun....the Water dragon creates the wide ocean, rivers, and
lakes....the Wind dragon blows wind onto the planet to keep things moving...and
Paladin, a golden dragon, spreads life and law onto the planet. Knowing that
evil will one day come upon to this peaceful world, the 4 dragons dies and turn
into a mysterious pendant. Paladin turn himself into a sword and sealed himself
away hoping that one day...the chosen one or his son will come and wield this
sword against evil. This became the Legend of Paladin."
...."Life begins to rise and rule the planet
as their own. 2 different group of people lives; the Magi...people born with
magic powers who believes in the Legend, and lives with nature, and never
judges....and the other is Human...people cursed with no magic, and believes in
science and technology, and always judges. Because of that, the Magi became
extinct because of their magic abilities...or searching for the pendant which
leades to the Paladin sword. With no hope of finding the pendant (since they
killed all the Magi =P), Humans slowly forgets the legend and continue their
lives of technology and science...."

[THUNDER]
the clouds gathered and turns dark...rumbling with
thunder...
the wind blows harder and harder, as if a storm will come
soon..
a soldier guards the castle's entrance..
"..!!!!!"
a woman was almost seen by the soldier..and backs
off.
she have yellow hair, and brown eyes, "this is not
good.." she wears a mysterious pendant..

the girl keeps on going...
"HEY YOU!!" shouts the soldier..
the girl freaks out, and hides, "no no!! not good..we
have to go to the other way.."

the girl goes to the other way...inside the castle.
the castle is big..and dark. there are soldiers
outside..guarding it.
"..." the girl looks around..
animal heads and priceless objects are hanged on the
walls..
she looks sad, "how could she..!!"
"HEY YOU!!!" shouts a soldier, and
attacks..!!
[battle]
enemy (HP: 10) "HOW'D YA GET HERE??"
the girl (HP: 50): [magic] "Ice" (-5)
enemy (HP:5): [attacks] (-5)
the girl (HP: 45): [attacks] (-5)

"...." the girl lowers her head, "sorry..i
didn't mean it..huh???"
she quickly turns around..
[THUNDER]
she takes her sword out..knowing that someone is there in the
dark shadows.
"..!!" the girl is alert. the lights are turned
on..
"bravo..bravo.." whisper a woman voice. a tall and
pale woman stood before the girl..sitting on her throne, "i knew that you
will become handy someday.."
"CHIMERA???" gasps the girl, then she turn
around..
a group of soldiers surrounded her!!!
"HAHAHAHAHAAH...nowhere to run. nowhere to hide. now give
me the PENDANT if u want to live!!" laughs Chimera
"..." the girl backs off..protecting her
pendant
"GIVE IT TO ME DAMN IT!!!!!!" roars
Chimera

the girl nods, "no..i can't. this pendant is VERY
important to me..!!"

the girl backs off, and takes out her sword, "you can't

"STUBBORN ASSHOLE!!!! NO ONE DENIES THE QUEEN!!!!"
roars Chimera, "I WILL GET WHAT I WANT..EVEN IF IT MEANS DEATH TO YOU!! GET
HER!!!"
the soldiers jumped her..!!

the girl kneels down...wounded seriously. the soldiers are too
much for her to handle..!!
she backs off...and quickly runs away..and exits the
castle.
"GET HER!!! GET HER!!!!" roars Chimera, "I WILL
GET THAT PENDANT AND THAT'S THE LAST THING I WILL
DO!!!!"

Part 2
Alone on the road . . .
the next day, the dark clouds disappears and the sun shines
onto the world, called Terra (guess what it means??)...
[wind blowing gently]
"[CHIRPING]" birds flies away in
groups..
the flower slowly blooms as the sun light gives its
warmth..
not far away...there's a small village.
.......
"...?" a young man walks deeper into a strange
forest..
"[soft humming]" a woman is singing..
the man gasps, and follows the sound of her
voice..
he run as fast as he can, bushes and leaves getting into his
way..
"[soft humming]"
the man looks around...trying to find her..
then he keeps on running..and crosses a small river without
hesitating..
he is very tired...but he really want to see her again..(for
some reason..??)
....
he stopped.
[wind blowing]
he arrived at a strange place....a sacred place.
a small ray of light shoots at one object in the sacred
place..
it's a sword, with a dragon carved in it...
"[stop humming]" a woman in a white short dress
stood there. she have her back turned...not letting the man to see her
face.
"...is it..is it really..YOU..?" whisper the
man
"you promised that you'll be here..and you are."
whisper the woman, and turns around..
her face is masked with a silk cloth...only her yellow hair
and brown eyes shows. she wears a pendant...??
she smiles..., "i knew you'll come...i
believe in you."
"...." he smiles,
and slowly walks toward her...to hug her.
[THUNDER]
"...!!!" he gasps. everything turns dark. the woman
slowly disappears..her smile turns into a cry for help...
"NOOOO..!!! WAIT...COME BACK..!!! NOO..!!!" shouts
the man...couldn't reach her..
"Geno.."
....
"GENO!!!! WAKE UP!!!" shouts a
innkeeper, "CHECK OUT TIME IS NOW."
"damn..so soon?" whisper the tired
man, and gets up. he have brown hair, blue eyes, wearing purplish clothes and a
hat.
"A traveler around
the world to sell products. His past are only hidden inside his
mind..."
"if you try to work
hard, maybe people will buy from you!!" laughs the keeper, "really
hard to believe that your brother was Xeros, the famous hero of the
world!!"
Geno ignores him, "yea yea..whatever.." he grab his
stuff and his sword and exits the inn...
[chirping]
outside, everyone is busy. the town is very alive...each of
them trying to get good money.
"HEY GENO!!! HOW'S XEROS????" shouts one of the
villagers
"i don't know."
"BUT HE'S YOUR BROTHER!!!! WHAT IF A MONSTER ATE
HIM??"
"...." Geno sighs, "i don't
CARE."
then he enters a cafe...and get some coffee.
"GENO!!!" smiles the bar host, "RUMOURS ARE
STRONG NOWADAYS!!! INCLUDING YOUR BRO..!! XEROS IS GOING TO THE WEST OF
"TERRA"..!!!! HE'S GOING TO PUT AN END TO OUR QUEEN NEPHNIA, AND FIND
THE WITCH THAT KILLED SOLDIERS WITH MAGIC... ISN'T IT COOL???"
"no."
"...." the host sighs, "tough
sell?"
"as always." said Geno, "my life sux...i have
to sell these damn products, having these VERY strange dreams every night,
sleeping in inns or get kicked out, losing 30 jobs already. and the worst part
is Xeros is my bro."
"what's the prob? i thought you used admired
him!!"
"i do. i still do." then he lowers his head,
"it's just that...ever since we were little, he is a born hero. and i'm
just a slut. i really wish that i could be just like him..but instead i got this
fucking job that pays $3.00 an hour."
"then join your bro!!"
"no..i'm not a hero person. i can fight..but there's NO
WAY i can save the world like he does. i don't have the ability to do
that.." whisper Geno, "well...i'll be on my way."
then he exits the cafe...
"[sighs] poor kid. he could be even GREATER than his bro
if Geno have some confidence in his self..!!" sighs the
host..
Geno stood there...near the cafe entrance, and lowers his
head, "THIS REALLY BITES!!! NO ONE WANTS TO BUY MY STUFF!!! i guess i'll
have to lose THIS job...again. i wish i'm Xeros..huh?"
he is alert, "WHO'S THERE???
whatta..??"
a woman appears from the tall grasses...very
wounded.
"...." the woman is really tired. she's been running
for hours, and after a BIG fight too..
then she falls on the ground, unconscious.
Geno freaks out..!! he quickly pull the woman to
an abandon barn, next to the cafe..
"whoa. she look beat. somebody really
jumped her!!" freaks Geno, as he gently put the woman on the soft hay. she
is still unconscious..
Geno rips off a little of his shirt..and wrap it
around the bleeding arm..
"there ya go." smiles Geno..then he
stopped.
and stare at her..
she looks very peaceful..and innocent. what happened to her..?
and who is she?
"..." Geno stare at her. so beautiful. so peaceful.
yet...they are strangers. he noticed she's wearing a very familiar pendant...the
4 elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Wind) carved in it..
he was about to reach for the pendant..
"what are you doing..???!!!" said a soft voice.
Geno freaks out, and backs off.
she's awake, "WHO ARE YOU??? AND WHERE AM
I...???"
"Beautiful, gentle..and mysterious. Her body is as cold as ice...but
her passion for love is as warm as the sun..."
"sorry.." whisper Geno, and gasps. she looks very
beautiful. her brown eyes and yellow hair, and the way she wears...
he blushes, his whole face turn RED, and lowers his head
trying to hide his extreme blush, "I..I...UH...I'M SORRY. your
pendant...it's really familiar to me. and i thought.." ^=^
"..." the woman looks around, "you saved me,
didn't you?"
"uh...yea?" whisper Geno, "how did you..?"

"are they gone..?? the soldiers??" whisper the
woman, really scared..
"soldiers?? no way. they hardly comes here." then he
freaks out, "YOU'RE THE WITCH...!! AREN'T YOU????"
"witch..?" the woman whispers
"YOU KILLED THOSE SOLDIERS IN THE CASTLE!!!" freaks
Geno
"yes. but i didn't mean to.." whisper the woman, and
lowers her head
Geno blinks...and smiles, "don't worry. you're safe
here!! this is Corinth, MY HOMETOWN!!" then he blinks his left eye ~o*
"I'M GENO!!!"
the woman is a little confused..not very sure to make friends
with him..
then she smiles..
"my name is Leene."
"leene...that's a beautiful name." whisper Geno,
very impressed.
"i'm in trouble..the soldiers are after me..!! i have
nowhere to go.." whisper Leene..about to cry,
"huh..??"
"don't."
Geno gently touches her face..., "don't ever cry."
"but...the soldiers will catch me and i don't want to go
back..!!"
"i'll protect you!!"
"..." Leene gasps. then she noticed Geno staring at
her...
and their eyes met...
Geno smiles...then he slowly going to kiss her..., "i
will protect you...i promise."
"geno.." Leene blushes..very alert as Geno aims for
her soft lips..
"I PROMISE."
....
[BOOOM]
"OPEN UP!!! THAT WITCH IS IN THERE!!!" shouts the
host
"OPEN THE DOOR, GENO!!! SHE'S DANGEROUS!!!" shouts
the villagers..
Geno's lips is only a millimeter away from
Leene's...
"no.." Leene whispers, then she backs off away from
Geno, "NO, YOU CAN'T PROTECT ME. you'll be in danger..you must go
away."
"but...!!!"
[BOOOM]
the door opens!!
the angry villagers entered the barn...and yells at
Leene..!!
Geno protects her, "WHAT DO YOU
WANT????"
"THAT GIRL IS THE WITCH!!! SHE WILL KILL YOU,
GENO!!!" shouts a villager
"soldiers just came to our town searching for that
woman." said the host, "if we don't turn her in...the soldiers will
burn our houses down!! and you know that Queen Nephnia is very serious and
coldblooded!!"

"all right. you win." whisper Geno, and slowly give
Leene to them, "uhmm..what're you going to do with
her..??"
"LET'S BURN HER AT THE
STAKE!!!!"

QUEEN!!!"
"BURY HER ALIVE!!!!"
"..." Geno freaks out, then he protects her,
"NO WAY..!!! i'm not gonna let you hurt her..!!"

"YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO HER!!! LEENE IS INNOCENT!!!"
shouts Geno, "SHE'S A WITCH..SO WHAT??? SHE'S ALSO A HUMAN

"but Geno..!! she's...DIFFERENT!!! she have dangerous
magic..!! i heard that she eat kids at night..!!" whisper a
woman
"..." Leene backs off...very scared
Geno stare at her...
"look, we all know your bro. that's why we let you stay
here with us for free. but this woman is not one of us..!! SHE MUST BE TURNED
IN!!" said the host, "if you want to continue to stay with us..STAY
OUT OF THE WAY."
Geno lowers his head, "i don't have anywhere else to
stay..i don't have money..!!"
"LET'S GET HER!!" the villagers tries to capture
Leene..!!
"NOO..!!!!" Geno gets serious, and stops them,
"I WON'T LET YOU HURT HER!!! I PROMISED HER THAT I WILL PROTECT HER..AND I
NEVER BACK OFF MY WORD!!!"
"geno..." whisper the host, "it's HER, isn't
it? she must be reason you want to protect this witch.."
Geno hesitates, then he shakes his head, "SHE'S NOT GOING
TO THE SOLDIERS!!! AND THAT'S FINAL!!!"
[SLAM]
the giant door slammed into Geno's face.
he and Leene are kicked out from Corinth..
"damn..i was expecting to get out of that place SOME day.
who knew it is TODAY?" whisper Geno, then he grab his sword,
"anyways..sorry about that, Leene..huh?"
Leene is walking away...
she turn her body around, and smiles, "thanx for
everything, Gene. until we meet again...LATER." ~o^
then she walks away without worry..
"well, SHE'S HAPPY." sighs Geno, scratching his
head, "i guess i'll have to go to another town and find Lita. maybe she can
help me!!"
then he gets ready and walks to the next town,
Maranda.

Part 3
Through the Cave . . .
Geno continues his way to Maranda.
"hmm..i wonder if i'll ever see Leene again..and that
pendant of hers..it's so strange." whisper Geno, carrying the only
equipment: his sword.
"COME GET YOUR HOT SAUSAGE!!!!! ONLY 25 CENTS
PER!!!" shouts a fat man, pulling his wagon full of hot sausages up toward
Corinth..
"hmm...food." smiles Geno, then he pull out his
money from his pocket, "awww..shit. only 5 cents???? damn!! i have to make
SOME sells or i'm in deep shit!!"
then he passes by the fat man..
"HEY GENO!!!! HOW'S YOUR BRO, XEROS???? DOING HIS USUAL
HERO LABOR???" laughs the man
"just go back to Corinth.."
"HAHAHAHHAHA!!! YOU'RE PROBABLY ADOPTED!!!! NO WAY YOU'LL
BE A GREATER HERO THAN XEROS..!!!!" laughs the fat man
Geno mumbles, "@#$%..." then he continue said,
"BETTER WATCH WHERE YA GOING OR YOU MIGHT HIT A BLACK
CAT!!!!!"
[BOOOOM]
"..." Geno freaks out, and turn around.
the fat man didn't watch where he was going...and hit
something with his wagon!!
Geno runs over to see it, "huh?"
it's a black panther..!!!
it gets up, and shakes its head....then it stare straight at
GENO.
"..." Geno is curious...
the panther's eyes are not black or brown...instead it's
GREEN..!!!
like a human..!!
"WHERE THE HELL DID THIS PANTHER COME FROM???"
freaks the fat man
the panther stare at Geno, then it jumps away.
Geno watches it leaves..and disappears into the
forests.
"MARANDA, HERE I COME!!!!" smiles Geno, standing at
the entrance of a small village.
In Maranda, things are the same like Corinth. Everyone
works.
Geno walks around, then he enter a item store, "HEY
MISTER!!!! WANNA BUY SOME PRODUCTS???? THEY'RE VERY USEFUL
AND.."
"no."
"BUT..!!!"
"no."
"asshole." whisper Geno, "FINE!!!! DON'T!!!! I
WON'T GROVEL AT YOUR FEET BECAUSE I'M POOR AND HUNGRY AND JOBLESS AND STUBBORN
AND I NEEDED MONEY REAL BAD!!!!!!"

inside the room, a group of rebellioins (The Rebel) are having
a meeting..
Geno hides behind the wall..
"I HAD IT!!! THE QUEEN TOOK MY FAMILY TO SLAVERY..AND I'M
GOING TO FREE THEM!!!" shouts one of the rebel
"QUEEN CHIMERA BURNED MY FARM!!!"
"SHE EXECUTED MY HUSBAND!!!"
"SILENT...!!! let's just calm down." said a woman.
she have dark blond hair, blue eyes, and dress quite sexy.
"A daredevil and a tomboy,
she's also a "rose with thorns". She's also the leader of the
Rebel.."
"LET'S CALM DOWN, REBELS."
said the woman, "ever since our good king was murdered...Chimera took over
the throne, and destroy our way of life. She will do anything to get what she
wants...even if burning down our villages."
"I SAY WE GO AND STOP HER ONCE AND FOR
ALL!!!" shouts a rebel
"no. too hasty. Chimera already noticed our
rebel movement..and she have thousands of tough soldiers to go against us. it's
just too risky.."
"THEN WE'LL GO TO WAR!!"
"a war won't solve anything...it's just too
dangerous. we can't afford good equipment like Chimera...we will lose the war
for sure." whisper the woman, "maybe if we can ally with King Nores of
Capital, we might have a chance!!"
"BUT CHIMERA WILL SEE US!!! SHE WILL STOP
US!!"
"hmm.." the woman nods, "no she
won't. we won't let her know..or ANYBODY know about this."
"and you're plan is..?"
"i'm going alone."
"NO YOU'RE NOT!!! WE CAN'T LET YOU DO
THAT!! IT'S DANGEROUS!!! AND CAPITAL IS MILES AWAY FROM HERE!!! THERE ARE
SOLDIERS AND MONSTERS OUT THERE!!!"
"don't worry. i can handle it." said
the woman, and grab her spear....
[CLICK..]
a small rock from an old brick falls to the
ground..!!
"COME OUT, INTRUDER!!!!" shouts the woman, aiming
her spear straight at Geno..!!
Geno shows his appearance, "sheesh, don't have to
yell!!"
"[GASPS]" the Rebels gasps..
"ARE YOU ONE OF CHIMERA'S SPIES????" shouts the
woman..
"the queen??? whatta..??"
[battle]
Geno (50): "WAIT!!!! let me
explain..!!"
Woman (55): "according to the rules, we must terminate
all spies!!"
Geno (50): "oh shit..!!"
Woman (55): [attack] (-5)
Geno (45): "OUCH!!!! you @#$%..!!" [DOUBLE-attack]

Geno backs off, "WHAT IS YOUR PROB,
FEMALE!!!??"
the leader backs off, not very injured. she whispers,
"Geno..??"

"IS THAT REALLY YOU???" smiles the woman, "IT'S
ME, LITA!!! REMEMBER???"
"...." Geno blinks, "lita?? it's been so long!!
you've changed!!"
Lita lowers her head, "people change over the times,
Geno.." then she gets serious, "you can't tell anyone about this. we
must make sure it never comes out.."
"meaning..???"
"yes, you must join us." said Lita, "we are the
Rebels, the last group of rebels against the queen. many other groups were found
and executed...we're the last group left." then she lowers her head,
"i'm going to find King Nores to help us."
then she walks away...
"WAIT!!!"
Geno stops her, "YOU CAN'T GO ALONE!!! IT'S TOO
DANGEROUS!!!"
"but.."
"I'LL COME WITH YOU!!!"
"..." Lita is surprised, "i'm serious, Geno.
this is life/death situation. not one of those merchant
sells."
"i AM serious!!! i mean, it's just a mission. HOW BAD IS
IT GOING TO BE??? after this mission, you go talk to the king and i'll be on my
way back to my job."
"hmm...all right." whisper Lita, "once we get
to Capital, you back to where you were supposed to be."
then they're on their way to Capital..
"[whistles]" Geno and Lita are walking on the road
to Capital..
Lita is very alert, while Geno fools around..
"..." He stare at her, so mature and serious,
"when did you became the leader of the Rebel?"
"when did you became a stinking
merchant?"
"ha ha ha. very funny." said Geno, "Xeros
already took the title "HERO". the people don't need another hero.
besides, i suck in battles.."
"not really. you almost beat me!! you can fight quite
good."
"nah...no i don't..huh??"
they stumble onto a strange cave...
"This cave is a shortcut to the dock, where we can take
the ship to Capital." said Lita
"THEN LET'S GO!!!"
"but i've heard that this cave was created by a giant
worm....we must becareful." whisper Lita, then they enter the
cave.
not far away, the black panther follows
them..

Part 4
Don't Be Afraid
Geno and Lita enters the cave..
"whoa..look it that!!" whispers Geno, kneels down,
and stare at a green blow of...something, "damn!!! what has this worm being
eating??"
Lita touches the cave's wall, "it's more like a worm
tunnel than a cave.."
then they continue their mission.
[soft rumble]
"STOP PLAYING, GENO!!" yells Lita
"but it wasn't..!!"
"[gasps] there's the exit!! let's go!" smiles Lita,
and runs to the exit.
Geno sighs, "women.." then he gets serious,
"whatta.?? i can feel it....IT'S COMING THIS
WAY!!!"
[RUMBLES]
"LITA!!! WATCH OUT!!!" freaks Geno
"[GASPS]" Lita gasps...as a giant worm explodes out
of the cave's walls, blocking the exit!!!
a rock is falling toward Lita..!!
...
[CRACK]
"you okay?" whispers Geno. he saved her just in
time..
"yes.." whispers Lita, blushing. but how does he
know that the worm will appear???
"[ROARING]" the giant worm roars..!!

Lita jumps back out. she destroyed the monster from the
INSIDE.
"..." Geno is still injured, "you are
crazy."
"here, let me help you up." smiles Lita, and wrap
right her arm around him. then they slowly exit the cave. She can feel Geno's
warm body around her...and she liked it
"so THAT was your special attack??" smiles Geno,
"YOU SHOULD'VE DONE IT EARLIER!!! I WAS ALMOST KILLED!!!"
"don't worry. you'll recover soon. but that was quite
easy.."
"you mean you did this MORE THAN ONCE??? you're still the
same when we were kids...a daredevil."
"[giggles]"
then they exit the cave...and head for the
dock

must've used up about 99% of her energy.."

the object Chimera wanted..but why??? she will do anything just to get it!!
this pendant must have magic powers that made Leene very weak when she uses
it. but she'll be fine soon.."
then he gets up, "we might beaten Chimera this
time..but we could've all get killed if it wasn't Leene. Chimera's attacks
are quite powerful. and she will come back..in a STRONGER
form.."

dragons, and going through obstacles and fighting monsters..especially the
guardians of the keys. and finding the Sacred Place where the sword lays is
IMPOSSIBLE. after that, only and ONLY the chosen one is allowed to pull out
the Paladin Sword.."

"geno..you don't have to do this." said Lita,
"you belong in Corinth.."
"we 3 can handle it!!" smiles Ozzie

"The Journey Begins.."
Leene soon recovered. they're ready to find the 4
keys..
"good luck, young people." said Normes, "i
shall stay here to make sure Chimera won't do try anything
sneeky."

the keys..don't worry."

"the legend says the 1st key is hidden
somewhere in the South. maybe you could find it there???"
"isn't it where the Forbidden Desert
lays??" said Geno

a glow of
light surrounds his body...

a very bright light shines everywhere..!!
the enemy couldn't see anything..a figure of a long golden dragon appears, and
hits through the enemy..!!
[ROAR]
[battle end]
the mummy stood there...not one movement.
"..." Lita and her friends watches the
fight...
as the light from the dragon slowly goes away, Geno
appears..holding his sword with both hands, and slashed through the mummy's hard
ribcage..
then Geno pull out the sword..
[THUD]
the mummy falls on the ground..and dies.
"[breathing]" Geno knees down, to catch his
breath..
"THAT WAS SO COOL!!!! DO THAT AGAIN, GENO!!!" shouts

"ozzie!!" said Lita, "i didn't know you have
that kind of special attack?"
"i don't."
"????"
"i don't even remember what happened.." said Geno,
"everything went so fast..all i can remember is a dragon's
roar.."
"Paladin.." whispers Leene, thinking
[clapping]
they turn around. it's Shade. he stands there watching them
fight..
"you did well, humans." said Shade
"YOU @##$%^&*....LITTLE PRICK!!! WHERE THE HELL WERE
YOU???? WE WERE GOING TO GET KILLED, YOU ASSHOLE!!" shouts

"i was here the whole time." said Shade,
"sometimes you can't depend on another when a difficult time
comes..especially family." then he walks toward Geno, "The 1st dragon
of the 5 legendary dragons...he created and gives birth to rocks, stones, and
land...he gave birth to the very ground we stood, "Terra". he is the
green dragon, the one we call Earth Dragon."
then he gives Geno a golden key, "this is the Key of
Spirit. you still have 3 more to find.."
a green crystal is carved in the key...
"WHAT???? YOU HAD THE KEYS ALL ALONG???? GIMME ME!!"
shouts Ozzie
"you must earn them. i shall only give to the ones who
deserve the title of the key..." said Shade, then he stare at Leene, then
he backs off, "you're next step is to find the Key of
Power..."
"but how??"
"you'll know." said Shade, then he disappears into
the shadows..
"damn..i gotta know how he did that trick!!" smiles

Geno holds the key, and put it away...
"look!! an exit!!" smiles Lita..

Part 8
"I May Be Lonely and Sad.."
Geno and his friends are set for the next quest for the
keys..
they left the Forbidden Desert, and enters a small
village..
"hmm...this must be the West. then if we go straight
forward, we might find the Fire Temple." said Lita
"I'M HUNGRY!!! LET'S PARK IT AND EAT!!!" complains
Ozzie
"i don't know this place very well.." whispers
Lita
Geno nods, "there's a Cafe."
then they enter the cafe..
"HMM..!!! I AM @#$% STARVING!!!!"
freaks Ozzie, and stuff himself with bread and corn..
"[CHIRP]" his pet chocobo, Chogie
shares a partial of his food..
"he's very obedient." smiles Leene
"this must be Midgar. i heard that a wealthy man lives
here.." said Lita
Geno is holding the cup of coffee in his hands..
he just stare at it..the little ripples and the reflection of
himself..
"i wonder if anyone here knows where the temple is, since
SHADE just come and goes only in life/death situation. how about it, Geno?"
said Lita, "Geno..???"
Geno isn't replying..he just stare at the
coffee...
...."[laughter]" 2 kids chases each other in a
meadow.."YOU CAN'T CATCH ME..!!" giggles the girl..she has long brown
hair, and wears a cuty dress. "WANNA BET???" smiles the boy..he looks
like..GENO?? but younger, with a cute little hair and all....

"GENO!!!" shouts Lita, and hits the table. his
reflection on the coffee disappears..
"...huh?? what??" blinks Geno
"you ok?" said Leene, "don't look so

"YEA..!!! [MUNCH] YOU'RE REALLY QUIET WHEN WE GOT
HERE..!!!" mumbles Ozzie, keep stuffing himself with bread..
Geno shakes his head, "i'm fine. i..i need a
walk."
"i'll come with you..!!" said Leene
"no!! no. i want to walk..ALONE." said Geno, then he
grab his sword, and walks away..
"i wonder what's gotten into him?" said
Lita
"..." Leene is worried..
"[CHATTER]" the people continue their work...Geno
walks slowly, thinking...
"[GIGGLES]" a child runs and bumps into him..!! his
flute falls from his pocket. then the child runs away..
Geno quickly picks up the flute, "careful,
kid."
"EDWARD!!!" shouts a woman voice, "come back
here..!!"
"that voice..??" Geno blinks, and turn
around.
the child runs to the woman, and hugs her..
the woman has brown hair and eyes, very mature, "i'm
sorry, mister. Edward is very playful and.."
"Rimooru??" whispers Geno, "is
that..you?"

"HEY GENO!!!!! GENO GENO GENO GENO GENO!!!" shouts
Ozzie. they join him...
"THAT CAFE IS GREAT!! HOW'D YA KNOW??" said Ozzie,

"you too, Rimooru." said Geno, "i'm so glad to
see you!! i thought that..!!"
"uhmm..you all must be travelers. come to my place and
rest.." said Rimooru. she's trying to hide something???
"SURE!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!" smiles

they followed her to her home...a farm. it's noon, Geno's
friends went to take a break, while Geno is alone..
he begins to play the flute...a very beautiful soft
melody..
"you still have the flute?" said Rimooru, and joins
him
"OF COURSE!! you gave me this flute, remember?" said
Geno..
.....2 kids runs around in the meadow. then they stopped. the
boy stare at her, "my brother is going to pick me up soon...we might never
see each other again." "do you have to go?" "i wish i
don't.." said the boy. then the girl hands him a wooden flute, "here.
i made this for you." "???" "every time you think of me,
play the flute. and remember me.." "Rimooru.." whispers Geno,
"i promise that when we grow up, i will return and marry you!!"

the exit..

"..." the boy is scared, then he follows
him..
[RUMBLING]
they got out of the barn..!! the barn collapses after they got
out..
"EDWARD..!!!" gasps Rimooru, and hugs the
boy..

"MAMA..!!!" cries Edward..

the soldier freaks out, "WHAT THE HELL...???!!! OH

then he runs away..

Lita smiles, "we got our ass kicked too..but we got
away!! luckily."
"i can sense the temple is near, Geno." said Leene,
"Geno???"
he's very serious, "Rimooru..what's going
on?"
"we need to talk." said Rimooru
at night, they're ready to move on.. Geno and
Rimooru is alone. they're talking in the small balcony outside Rimooru's house.
the moon glows behind them..
Geno put his hands on the balcony, very disappointed,
"[SIGHS] please tell me the truth, Rimooru."
"i am." whispers Rimooru, her hands tight together,
very sad and nervous, "i'm sorry, Geno. i wish you would've known this
sooner. yes, Edward is my son. i was married to a farmer, but now, i'm a
widow." then she cries, "I NEVER WANTED TO MARRY HIM!!!! i was forced
to, by my parents. they thought i could live better with him. but from the day i
married him, not one day have i been happier than to be with you."
"rimooru..."
"PLEASE, GENO!!! i thought you would have a change of
heart by now..but then i realized you still love me like you were before. the
way you kept that flute for years, the way you trusted me, and the way you saved
my son...i realized i'm in love with you." cries Rimooru, then she grabs
his arm..!! "PLEASE...i know you still love me!! please take me with
you..!!! let us forget everything from the past..and start
anew."
"..." Geno lowers his head, "all these years, i
was in love with you..thinking about you and everything." then he looks up,
trying to hide his tears, "but it was all but a LIE. i told you i'll love
you, but you didn't have faith in me. but instead, you lied to
me."
"i wish i told you sooner. BUT WE CAN STILL BE
TOGETHER..!!! I KNOW..!!!"
Geno takes her arm away from his, "it's too late,
Rimooru. it's not your son..it's the way you felt about me."
then he walks away...
Rimooru cries, "BUT YOU CAN'T BE IN LOVE WITH ANYBODY
ELSE...ARE YOU????"
Geno sighs, then he realized something, "yes. i am."
then he whispers, "i realized that my love for you was the past...the
present is someone else..someone i loved at first sight."

"GENO!!! WAIT PLEASE!!!!"
he sighs and waves his hand behind him, telling Rimooru that
he doesn't want to hear more about it..
While Lita and Ozzie waits for Geno, Leene explores around.
she plucks a small flower, and smiles, "life is so beautiful..i wish people
understands it. huh??"
she quickly turn around, and takes out her knife, "come
out."
a figure appears from the shadows of the night. it's Shade,
"so you knew."
"yes. you followed us all the way here..what do you
want?"
"we both can sense it, Leene. DO NOT HIDE IT." said
Shade
Leene hesitates, "i..i don't know what you're talking
about."
"admit the truth, Leene. you know something will happen
soon, the Acolopes, and to Geno.." then Shade is serious, "we both had
a vision that if you continue to stay with Geno, he will DIE."
"..." Leene closes her eyes, "what should i
do?"
"you must disappear. away from him FOREVER. if you want
him to live." said Shade, "we're different from these humans, Leene.
we had special abilities that humans can't understand.."
then he walks away..
Leene sighs, "who are you?"

"The New Ally"
Geno and his friends continue their quest for the 2nd
dragon key..
"how come we have to leave Midgar so early??? i mean,
that place got good food!!" said Ozzie
"..." Geno didn't say anything..
Lita notice that he's sad, "Midgar
sux."
"NO IT DOES NOT!!! IT'S COOL..!! i
mean..OUCH!!!!" freaks Ozzie. Lita kick him with her spear, "it
SUX, Ozzie."
"oh. right." whispers Ozzie, then he turn
around, "why is Leene so quiet?"
Leene is walking behind them, thinking about last
night..

a volcano is erupting in a distance..

volcano..

Fires, or the Fire Dragon. but sadly, there was a terrible earthquake and a
volcano swalled the temple..like the Earth Temple and the others, they are
hidden away and lost forever.."
then he whispers, "the 2nd of the 5 legendary
dragons...he created fire and power. he is the red dragon, the one we call
Fire Dragon.."
"what if it erupts again?" said

"..." Shade walks away, "to get the Key of
Power, you must prove yourself worthy."
he stare at Leene..
"???" Geno blinks
Leene ignores Shade...
then Shade disappears..
"what an asshole. always with this "prove
yourself worthy" quote." said Lita, then she sighs, "these
courses are getting harder and harder.."
"let's go in." said Geno, and enter the crater.
not far away, a large black cat follows them...
inside the crater, it's very hot. lava beneath the crater
bubbles and can arise at any second..
"think COLD...think ICE...think VERY VERY COLD
ICE." said Lita, trying to cool herself off..
Geno noticed that Leene is strange, "what's up, girl?

"..." Geno smiles, "you're very quiet, but

they enter the temple. lava is everywhere. the temple is
like TOTALLY destroyed. only a bridge remains to cross the
lava..
"wow. i should've known this. a temple with lots and
lots of lava." said Ozzie
"a strong monster is around here..we must
becareful." said Leene
"yea yea. whatever." sighs Lita,
"Geno..it's weird, but i can feel it..i mean.."
"[growling]" a monster is hidden inside the
lava..swimming around, ready to pounce at them..
"I MEAN, i can really feel it!! something bad will
happen to you. but i don't know what..it's just BAD ya know?

growling..

as they follow the strange cat, thousands of debris from
the volcano and lava rocks are flying everywhere!! the temple is going to
collapse..
"HEY WAIT UP!!!" shouts Geno
"WATCH OUT!!!" gasps Leene
a medium sized lava rock hits his
shoulder..!!!
Geno got hit, but tries to ignore the pain, "i'll be
fine!! let's go!!"
they continue their way out of the volcano. the panther is
very fast, for it has 4 legs =) finally, the panther stopped, and turn
around to Geno and friends..
"this way!!" said the cat, and guide them to the
exit..
[RUMBLING] the volcano erupts!!! luckily, they got out of
there just in time..
"whew!!! just imagine US inside while the eruption
begins..!!" said Ozzie
they stopped not far away from the volcano...
the panther slowly sits down, and clean
itself..
"your shoulder!!" gasps Lita
"i'll be fine..OUCH. kinda =P." whispers
Geno
"STOP BEING SO STUBBORN!!! it's bleeding..!! those
rocks just falls on you on purpose!!" said Lita, trying to cover the
wound..
"i am Eter." said the panther, "i was on a
quest to search the survivor of the Magi, or the "guardian" of the
Paladin Sword. until i met you, Geno. i can sense that something will go
wrong during your journey..so i followed."
"A Large black cat with paws powerful enough to wound enemies
deeply...yet, it's eye color from a human?"
Eter noticed Chogie...a baby Chocobo.
"we're on a quest to find the 4 keys to the Paladin
Sword against Chimera. so i guess we're on the same path..?? so you could
join us!!"
Eter growls..and pounce on Chogie..!!!
"[CHIRP]" Chogie freaks out, and runs to
Ozzie..
"HEY..!!! @#$%^&*%$#@..!!! THAT'S MY CHOCOBO!!
BACK OFF..!!!" shouts Ozzie
"a little runt keeping a bird? the bird will probably

Geno, Lita, Ozzie (and his pet chocobo: Chogie), and a new
ally, Eter, continue their quest for the 4 legendary keys to the Paladin
Sword..
"i wonder where Leene is.." whispers Geno, "i
thought she was behind us..??"
"she was...but you'll never see her again." said a
stranger
a ninja jumps down from the trees, "she will never return
to you..she's gone."
"Leene ran away? why?" blinks

"..." Shade closes his eyes,
"it's destiny.."
"I HAVE TO FIND HER..!!!! SHE CAN'T
JUST...DISAPPEAR..!!!" said Geno, "i promised i will protect

them gifts and etc. at every winter. until Chimera shows up. she was really
angry because Clause never obeyed her rules...which are evil. so she created
these ficious wolves in our land, to make sure that Clause can't come out to
help the little children in town." said Ralph, "the other deers are
killed by the wolves...only i survived."
"so where's Clause?" said Lita
"he just left for town..giving the gifts to the kids like
usual. outside it's very dangerous because of the wolves, but he still want to
help. it's been hours...he still haven't return yet. i'm very
worried.."

"The Ice Princess"
Geno and his friends arrived at the Ice Temple..
"woww.." smiles Lita, as a small flake of ice falls
on her hand, "this place is BEAUTIFUL..!!"
"i think it sux. there's no fire or any HORROR stuff
around here like the other temples.." said Geno
"this is GIRLY stuff!!" said Ozzie
"this temple is not scary..instead, it reflects the heart
of a woman." smiles Lita
"you are correct, Lita." said a voice. it's
Shade..
"DO YOU ALWAYS LIKE TO CREEP ON PEOPLE?" said
Geno
"this temple is indeed built for a female.." said
Shade, "the Ice Dragon.."
"but..i thought all the legendary dragons
are..MALE?" blinks Lita
"not her.." said Eter, "the folklore must be
true.."
"huh???" blinks Geno
Eter walk up to the temple, "long time ago, before Terra
was created, the 5 dragons live separately. The Ice Dragon was also called the
Ice Princess, for it can turn into a human form like the others. she fell in
love with Paladin, the leader of the 5 dragons. and so does
he.."
Shade finishes the story, "the 6th dragon, called the
Black Dragon, is the most feared of them all. it can give death to whoever he
wishes to..even Paladin if possible. the Black Dragon fell in love with the
princess too..but her love is always Paladin. this really angers him, after
Terra was formed, he appears and sealed the Ice Dragon's soul..for which the
body and power already turned into part of the pendant.. and imprisoned her soul
in her temple for ETERNITY."
"awwww...how sad." cries Lita
"Paladin found out, but it was too late, he already
turned himself into a sword..so he doesn't have the power to release the
princess.." said Eter, "the 6th dragon was so feared, and that he only
appears EVERY 1000 YEARS...that he was excluded from the Legend of
Paladin."
"so..there is 6 dragons in total.." whispers
Geno
"people says that the princess is still in love with
Paladin..others says her soul is kidnapped by the Black Dragon..but no one
knows." said Eter, "but once the guardian of the temple is killed, she
will be FREE."
Shade sighs, "The 3rd dragon of the 5 legendary
dragons...she created ice and love...a blue dragon, she is the Ice
Dragon."
then he disappears..
"let's go." said Geno, and they enter the
temple..
inside the temple..there's ice and crystals everywhere.

the water is so cold, that it is like a thousands swords

wears a silk dress. she aims her hand at Geno..

"hurry!! you must leave!!! the guardian cannot be
destroyed.." said the woman

"..." the woman closes her eyes, "some things
are the way it was..you can't change it. GO!!! leave me be.."

Geno and his friends are ready for the last
temple..
"check it out!!" smiles Lita

not far away, there's a small island. a small village looks
very new..??
"that must be Chocobo Island!! i heard that thousands of
chocobos made their home in that island." smiles Lita
"then the village must be Chocobo Town..?? they're
already settled on the island..!!" said Ozzie
"Chocobo Town?" blinks Geno
"THE FAMOUS CHOCOBO TOWN!!! haven't u heard of it, Geno??
that's the only place in the world with all kind of breeds of Chocobo..!!"
said Lita, "you can't find this town anywhere in
Terra..!!"
"your Chogie is already half-grown up, Ozzie!! maybe we
can bring to it Chocobo Town..?" said Geno
"[CHIRP]" blinks Chogie. he has grown. his little
baby fur is disappearing and another coat of lighter yellow covers it. the wings
started to grow bigger and the claws stronger for running. his beak are strong
enough to break a man's arm..
"i haven't noticed that Chogie have grown so much.."

"LET'S GO..!!!" smiles Geno, and they went to
Chocobo Town..
[loud chatter] many people from around the world came to visit
Chocobo Town. you can different kind of Chocobos walking next to their
masters...

looking around..

a huge tall black Chocobo walks passes him. its fur shines
like the night sky...

Chocobos..!!" said Eter, "speaking of Chocobos..[purr] IT MAKES ME
HUNGRY!!!!"
"Geno..LOOK!!!! THEY'RE STARTING A BREED SHOW..!!!"

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN..!!!! WELCOME TO CHOCOBO TOWN, THE
ONLY PLACE IN THE WHOLE TERRA TO FIND ALL DIFFERENT KINDS OF CHOCOBOS....BLACK,
BROWN, GOLDEN, YELLOW, PEACH, ETC...YOU NAME IT, WE GOT IT!!!! THIS YEAR, OUR
BREED SHOW WILL BE DIFFERENT...INSTEAD OF ONLY AWARDING THE BEST CHOCOBO BREED,

his hair aside from his eyes. he have purple hair (the left side of his hair
falls on his eye), dark black eyes, and wears black clothing. VERY HANDSOME too.

"A pistol on the left hand...a
trifle on the right. The racing champion of the world, accompied by a loyal
black Chocobo. his past were never mentioned.."
"[SIGHS] IT'S....HIM!!!!" freaks the women,
"NEIKEN!!!!"
"who's Neiken?" blinks Lita,

feed himself, and to escape danger, enough to grow to adulthood." said

Geno run to his room, and shut the door. then he sits down
on the bed..really angry.

he tear off his cape and throw it on the
ground...
then he sighs sadly, and tries to hide his tears, "i

Outside the room, Leene stood there, by the

the next day, Geno and his friends are ready to find the
Paladin Sword..
"that's not an uncharted island!! it's called Death
Island. legend has it that a lost city was swallowed by the Death Dragon

"a perfect place for the Paladin Sword to be

know just the man you need..!!!" smiles Cormes, "his name is Cid.
he is an inventor, always creating crazy inventions like the Stove and
Oven..??? he even said he's going to make the greatest invention ever...the
AIRSHIP!!! HA HAHA..!! that's crazy talk!! only birds can fly, not
airships..!!!"
"an airship?? that's what we need to cross the ocean
to the island!!" said Geno, "where is he?"
"hmm..he came here a few days ago before you arrived.
he said he moved to Jidoor, upper North to built his airship. that's where
the Chimera's factory is..??"
"got it." smiles Geno, "let's
go."
then he stopped.
Leene (as Lena) stood there, in her queen
dress.

then they enter the house..
"check it out!!" smiles Ozzie. the house is
really big. but the whole house is decorated with Cid's designs and old
inventions..

"i'm sorry..when i heard your voice, i though it's
HIM.." said Cid, "you and his voice sound SO

"he is the general of Chimera's army. but i couldn't
see his face.." said Cid, "i don't know what happened..but one

Chimera and her general storms in and destroys my ship..!! she knew long ago

destroyed by Chimera too.."

"hello, Geno." said the man. he walks toward
him. he wears a cape, and strong armor. he have black hair, and blue eyes.

Xeros stops, "especially you, Geno. Chimera is very
powerful. and this little battle means NOTHING to her!! so i planned to make
peace with her, so no one will die in a battle against her. but now..it's
too late. i almost convinced her, then you all just came in...and you know

Xeros walks away, "GO HOME!!! all of you. you don't

"The Secret is Revealed..."
it's midnight. Cid is still fixing the airship, while the
others fell asleep waiting for him..
Neiken wakes up, "huh..?? you're not done
yet?"
"nope. just a few more glittches.." said Cid,
"why are you awake?"
"can't sleep.." said Neiken, "here, let me do
this."
Neiken helps out, and put 2 broken wires from the airship
together.
Cid is surprised, "how did u..?"
"something i learned from the past." said
Neiken
"but you're a Chocobo racer..? that doesn't have to do
with machinery?"
"..." Neiken lowers his head, "i just know it,
ok?"
then he stare at Cid, "enough about me. what about u? how
come Chimera knows you?"
"[sighs] 10 years ago, people were poor. inventions
weren't much of big help like the present. my family was very poor,
indeed.." said Cid, "later, my mother started to get ill. and a war is
going on too, King Cormes vs Queen Chimera. i heard that the war started by
Chimera. so i decided to join her army, where the soldiers get payed
well."
then he sighs, "my fighting skills were so superior that
Chimera made me a general in a few days. then the war starts. in the
battlefield, many soldiers were killed on both sides. i was fighting fiercely,
and then i saw it. Chimera was talking a strange woman, named Tiara.
"Chimera, this war has to be stopped!!" "no. i like the way it
is. for so many years..i have to waited to hear the screams and pain from
humans. especially the scream of my dear husband, the king and the cousin of
Cormes..!!!! HAHAHAHAHA..!!!!" "you're hopeless.." whispers
Tiara, and runs away. i was very surprised. Chimera killed the king. then i
realized that i was making a big mistake in my life..i'm fighting for the enemy.
a killer. then i drop the sword, and ran away."
"then?"
"i never turned back ever since. i started anew, and be
an inventor. i never lifted a weapon for 10 years until NOW.." said Cid,
"now let's get some rest."
then they went to sleep.
the next day, they aboard the airship, and takes
off..
"NEXT STOP; DEATH ISLAND!!!!" smiles Geno, as the
wind blows passes him...
the airship lifted up to high sky, and flies very smoothly
like an falcon..
they arrived at Death Island, and landed the
Falcon..
"wow...we're finally here." smiles Lita
"let's get the Paladin Sword!!" said Geno, and they
enter the island..
the island is full of wild plants and trees. it's growing
everywhere. animals appears without hesitation. they never saw a human
before??
"whoa..you can tell no one dares to come to this island
for YEARS!!" whispers Ozzie
"it's like a big maze..!" said Lita, "no wonder
no one returns from this island..you can get lost real easy!!"
"..." Geno closes his eyes, "i can feel
it.."
"feel what?" said Neiken
"a place...a very sacred place. hidden. deep in the
middle of the island.." said Geno, "the Paladin Sword must be
there..!"
there are trees everywhere. they hardly sees anything else but
trees, trees, and MORE trees..
"uhm...are we lost?" said Ozzie
"i know it's around here some place.." whispers

"you're no prophet, kid!! maybe you were mistaken."
said Cid

"maybe..huh??"
he saw a broken limestone in his way. it's part of a
pillar..???
"[GASPS] look!!!!" gasps Lita
they look up.
they found an ancient city..!!!
they enter the city..
"HELLOOOO?? ANYBODY HERE..???" shouts

Eter lowers his head, "no one lived here

Eter steps forward, and take a good look at the ancient place,
"it's still here..i can't believe it. after all these
years.."
"you know this place, Eter?" said

"..." Eter is sad. he thought of his

then he shakes his head, "this is the Lost City of the
Magi.."
"MAGI?????" freaks everyone
"AREN'T THEY EXTINCT???" freaks

"they are." said Eter, "1000 years ago, when
the last group of Magi settles here...
....[BOOM] the house explodes!! the Magi people panics.
they're in a middle of a huge battle. "CHIEF..!!! CHIEF..!!!" shouts a
Magi warrior. the leader turn around. he's very handsome and strong. his eyes
are GREEN (like..Eter??), "yes?" "CHIEF!!! THE TRAITOR CAME
BACK..!!! SHE WANTS THE PENDANT..!!! SHE'S STRONGER THAN BEFORE, AND SHE'S
ALREADY KILLED MANY OF OUR WARRIORS..!!!" "we can't let her have the
pendant..!! or the whole world is doomed.." "WHAT SHOULD WE DO?? SHE'S
COMING..!!" "it leaves me no choice.." said the chief.
"DADDY..!!!!" a small little girl run to him, "I'M
SCARED..!!!!" "it's ok, my darling. here. take this." said the
chief. he put the pendant around his daughter's neck, "this pendant will
protect you. PROMISE me that you'll never let anyone..ANYBODY take it."

"now, remember where we used to hide and seek in the back of the city?? go

our family ancestors. NOW GO." said the chief. the girl hesitates, then she
ran away. "...may the great Paladin protect you, my dearest
daughter.." whispers the chief, then he went to battle..
...." Eter closes his eyes, "sadly, the Magi lost
the battle. the enemy was too powerful. she uses black magic and summoned the
arrival of the Death Dragon, and kills all Magi in this city...and hidden from
the outside world FOREVER.."
"1000 years ago??? then the girl will be grown and dead
by now?" said Ozzie
"Magi are known to have unlimited life span, unlike
humans." said Eter, "but they are all wiped out by the sorceress.
luckily, the girl and the chief survived. but they never reunited
again.."
"[SNIFF] i think i'm gonna cry.." whispers
Lita
"Eter, how do you know so much about the Magi??"
said Geno, very curious..
"...!!!!" Eter freaks out, "well..I JUST DO,
OK??? let's just go, already??"
"damn..i'm just asking. it's not as if
YOU'RE a Magi??" said Geno
they continue to explore the Lost City. all the houses are
broken and destroyed. nothing have survived the battle. the whole city is full
of new discoveries, so they decided to split up to find the Paladin
Sword..
Geno saw a drawing on the walls of a house, "huh?"
he kneels down.
the drawing shows a gold dragon which turns into a
sword..
and a pendant, similar to the one..LEENE
WEARS??
"[gasps]" Geno is surprised. he saw another drawing
of a warrior, wearing the pendant, and pull out the sword from the Sacred
Place...just like his dream???
could the legend of the Dragons be true?? and who's the chosen
one?
"[humming]"
"huh??" Geno gets up, and turn his head to the
trees. he can hear a soft hum of a woman??
but the sword must be in the city, not in the forest. but the
humming sounds so familiar, his heart told him to go and check it
out.
and he went into the forest, leaving his friends behind for
now..
"[SOFT HUMMING]"
"[GASPS]" Geno is very excited. he runs to see who's
humming..but couldn't get there. he stopped, and listen
again..
"[HUMMING]" the voice is closer..
"could it be..???!!" freaks Geno, then he continue
to follow the voice..
[SPLASH] he runs and crosses the river...
there's no monsters or animals around, but trees and
rivers..
and the light shining from the surface of the
forest...
this is just like his dream!!!
bushes and plants are his way, but Geno didn't care.
"UHMPH..!!!" he fell on the ground. a tree root
tripped him. but Geno quickly get up on his feet, and continue
running..

then he stopped.
Geno arrived at a strange place..???
there are no trees in this area, but the soft meadow. light is
much brighter here. and it's very silent...
"[humming]" a woman appears. she's
humming..
next to her, is a sword, not touched for 1000
years..
the woman stops humming, and faces Geno..
"...???!!" Geno blinks, very
confused.
it's Queen Lena, "i've been waiting for you,
Geno.."
then she touches her pendant, and turns into her true
identity..
it's LEENE..!!! (like, duh?)
Leene stood there, face to face with Geno..
"LEENE..!!" smiles Geno, wanting to hug her. but
can't.
Leene didn't do anything. she's very calm and serious,
"first, i must tell you a legend that was passed down from the Magi...the
Legend of Paladin....
....Long ago, before Terra was created, 6 dragons roam freely
around the sky; Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Light, and Death dragons. the Light
Dragon, Paladin, was their leader. but the Death Dragon objected it, and wants
to kill Paladin. luckily, Paladin won, and sealed the Death Dragon away, only
able to come out when summoned every 1000 yrs...
...Later, when Terra was born, 2 group of people exist; Humans
and Magi. Humans are known to be evil, selfish, greed, and full of judgement of
others. Magi are known to have magic abilities, protectors of Terra, and
understanding. even though Paladin's body turns into a sword to destroy evil,
his true powers are hidden inside a pendant that symbolizes the 4 dragons;
Water, Fire, Earth, and Wind. only the leader of the Magi holds the pendant and
the whereabouts of the Paladin Sword, for which...the leader is the guardian of
the legendary sword. because of the legend, humans will go to the limits to find
the pendant and the Paladin Sword. humans almost exterminate all the
Magi..."
then Leene lowers her head, "the last group of the Magi
survived, and hide themselves away from the humans, by building its own city in
this forest. years goes by...the Magi lived peacefully. Humans thought Magi are
extinct. and life goes on...the legend never mentioned again. until one day. a
female Magi, a powerful sorceress, tries to show the humans where the Magi are
hidden. luckily, the chief stopped her before it happens, and kick her out from
the City forever. full of anger, she swore to bring vengeance on the
Magi.."
Leene closes her eyes, "peace didn't last for long. the
traitor came back, much powerful than before, and went into war with the Magi,
to get the pendant. she summons the Death Dragon, and immediate death to all
Magi...only one little girl survived.."

"..." Leene opens her eyes, "i was the little
girl. i am the daughter of the leader of the Magi. and i'm also the LAST of my
kind.."

"i am the guardian of the Paladin Sword." said
Leene, "and it's my job to protect the pendant as
well.."

"yes, Geno. when i escaped from the City, Chimera adopted
me, and took care of me. but at the end, she wants my pendant..but i never gave
it to her. i thought all humans are evil..and that i will never find the chosen
one. UNTIL I MET YOU."

"you're different from all the people i met. no ordinary
human or merchant would risk his life to fight monsters and to search for the
Paladin Sword. no human would risk his life for a stranger...a Magi, like me.
especially you knew i have magic abilities." said Leene, "the chosen
one earns the title of Courage, Friendship, Spirit, and Power. and you have that
inside you, Geno. i was quite surprised at first..but i realized that YOU ARE
THE CHOSEN ONE. you are the descendant of the Light Dragon,
Paladin..!!!"

"only the chosen one and the Magi have the ability to
have prophetic dream that comes true.." whispers Leene, "Geno, you're
the chosen one."
"that means.."
"yes, only you can wield the Paladin Sword from the
stone." said Leene, then she give him her pendant, "i have wore this
all my life..now it belongs to you. it has the true powers of the
sword.."
their hands touches each other...
Leene touches Geno's hand gently. Geno can feel her hand..as
cold as ice, "the pendant means a lot to me. it has been passed down from
my family since the time of dawn. you wearing the pendant means all the hope
from the Magi people are in your hands..the fate of the world...and
ME."
"leene..i..i'm sorry i doubted you." whispers

"you can't blame yourself. you are a human. and i'm a
Magi. we are different..and we're not destined to be together." whispers
Leene, "promise me that you'll take this pendant off. promise me that
you'll never anyone take this pendant.."

"PROMISE me."
"i promise." said Geno, "i'll NEVER take it
off. as long as i wear it, i will always THINK OF YOU.."
"..." Leene is surprised..
"i don't care if we're different." said Geno,
"all these days, without you, it's like swords stabbing at my heart. i
couldn't let you go.."

"if only death can keep us together, so be it. i don't
care. i just want to be with you, FOREVER." whispers

"..." Leene touches his face, and cries,
"you've matured, Geno..but i can't be with you, even i though i really wish

"i'll endanger you. i have a vision that...you were
trying to save me from Chimera. but Chimera killed you, because of me."
whispers Leene, "no matter what, i'm a Magi. you're a human. that's the way
it is..and that's the way it'll be always be."
"but leene..!!! I DON'T CARE. let's just, be together,
for now, ok?? then we'll think of something about the future.." said Geno,
then they hug each other...really tight...
"oh geno.." cries Leene
"leene.." whispers Geno

the whole forest turn dark. everything it's pitch
black.
Geno couldn't feel Leene's body..??? she's
gone..???
then the light comes back..
"GENO..!!!!" screams Leene. a shadowy figure hold
onto Leene by the neck, then Leene disappears into a warp..!!!
"LEENE..!!!! NOOOO..!!!!!" shouts Geno. but she's
gone.
"she's not here." said the figure.
"huh??? you're..??" said Geno
it's Shade, "Leene is gone. she's in Chimera's
castle."
"SHADE...??? YOU ASSHOLE!!!! WHY DID YOU DO THAT??? I
THOUGHT WE WERE ALLIES..!!!!!" shouts Geno, then he pull out his sword, and
steps toward Shade...ready to attack...
"BACK OFF." whispers Shade, and turn his head to
Geno. his red eyes glows..!!!
"[GASPS]" Geno gasps, he can sense POWERFUL magic in
Shade..!!
a tree falls down straight to Geno..!!!
but luckily, Geno missed..
"YOU WORK FOR CHIMERA ALL ALONG, DIDN'T YOU??? THEN WHY
DID YOU HELP US..!!!!" shouts Geno
"i'm not on her side...nor yours." said Shade, then
he walks away..
"...!!!" Geno is really angry, "WHO DO YOU
THINK YOU ARE??? I KNEW WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TRUSTED
YOU..!!!!"
"...." Shade stopped, "the Apolocapse is
coming..the summon of the Death Dragon is near. stop Chimera..and you'll stop
the Death Dragon. but you'll never see Leene again.."

"things are the way it is, Geno. you're different from
Leene. at the end, no matter what you do, either you or Leene will DIE."
said Shade, "i have seen the future, Geno. i know what's your
destiny.."
then he disappears...
Geno is really angry, wanting to fight Shade. then he let it
go.

captured."

Sacred area, and grab onto the Paladin Sword...
is Shade right about the future?? if Geno defeated Chimera, at
the end, they'll never be together?? but if Geno don't do anything about it,
Leene will be in trouble..
he doesn't care anymore. he just want Leene
back..
"..." Geno closes his eyes. then he decided what to
do..

then Geno put the sword away, "let's
go."
and they leave the Lost City..
Lita stare at him, and noticed that he finally have matured
into a true warrior..

"Just Friends..??"
[humming]
Leene turns around to Geno..
"!!!! LEENE..!!!" gasps Geno, and runs
to her..
but each step he takes
toward her, the background changes.
the sky turns darker with thunder..
the grounds quakes..
thorns and skeletons appears..
but Geno didn't care. he just want her
back..!!
then he quickly stopped..!!
"NOO..!!!!" gasps Geno, and looks up. the background
changes into another place..
thunder hits the sky numeriously..
light hardly shines through here..
Geno is holding the Paladin Sword, his only weapon. in front
of him are thousands and THOUSANDS of rose thorns in his way. skeletons are in
there..showing that people tried to get in, but failed. and after the thorns, a
huge dark castle stood there, and gargoyle of the Death Dragon in the
ceiling..like a ceremony..??
there's NO WAY anyone could pass through these thorns and
survive through the tough enemies inside the castle...
"GENO..!!!! DON'T COME HERE..!!!! OR YOU'LL
DIE..!!!!" screams Leene, in the ceiling of the castle,
"AAAAHH..!!!"
another woman...taller and darker...came, and pull her away
from Geno's sight.
"..!!! LEENE..!!! NOO..!!!!" shouts Geno,

found you laying on the ground, near the Falcon."

was the guardian. she was THE MAGI."
"i was getting suspicious..wearing that pendant
EVERYday..!!" said Ozzie
"and i was the chosen one. i was the descendant of
Paladin. i was destined to wield the Paladin Sword.." whispers Geno,
"and to meet Leene. her duty is to find the chosen one, and give him the
pendant, and guide him to the Paladin Sword. and for 1000 years of waiting and
searching...she found him. it was ME.."
"..." Eter gets serious, "but you end up
falling in love with her when you're not suppose to. SO WHERE IS
SHE???"
"she's gone."
"WHAT???"
"Shade took her, and gave her to Chimera." said
Geno, then he closes his eyes, "I COULD'VE DONE SOMETHING THEN..!!! i
could've stopped Shade..!!! but..but...instead.."
"YOU DAMN RIGHT!!" said Neiken

Eter purrs, "don't blame on yourself, lad. guilt could

horrible."

"Leene means a lot to me too. but we must wait. we must
be patient...until the time comes that we must FIGHT."
"WHEN??? i've lost her too many

"one day, Geno." said Eter, then he lowers his head,

promised."
then Lita cries, "as years go by, he is still in the
army. he was just a soldier. every time he comes home, the only words he says

of my people dies..but we still hang on. many monsters attacked us, but we are

fighting and victory. he cares nothing else but to fight for

protected by his parents when the monsters came...and risked their lives. the
baby is saved..for NOW. Belthazar lifted the baby up, "i will give a proper
burial for your parents. for now, i must find you guardians to protect you. but
the monsters could've gotten you too..huh??" he can sense magical powers in
the baby..!!! then right away, he realized that Belthazar must take the baby as
one of his people, "you're...YOU'RE THE CHOSEN ONE!!!" "..."
not far away, Xeros watches them...very upset.."
"so...i was the baby?" said Geno
"yes, from the moment i saw you...the powers that i
felt..i know the legend is true. you're the descendant of Paladin, the one
destined to save our world from evil." said Belthazar
"and Xeros wasn't really my

"Xeros left Corinth as soon as he begins his hero labour.
he never visits Corinth anymore.."

in a sudden, the queen bee came and try to
kill the old man..!! but why him??
"[SCREECHING]" the bee screeches...then it attacks,
and stung the old man with its venomous tail..!!

groans Geno, as he struggles to get up. cuts and scars are all over him, "i

surprised..

Geno: "somehow..i can't let this bee hurt you. i promised

the pendant that Leene gave

does his sword..

the speed of light, and slashes through the enemy...

dies.

later, Geno's friends are ready to aboard the
Falcon..
"where's the kid?" said Neiken

stay.."
"let's go." said Eter.

"ARE YOU GOING TO LEAVE WITHOUT...ME???" said a
voice.
they turn around.
Lita smiles, "GENO!!!!"
"i thought about it. even if i'm not really a warrior..i
rather spend my life fighting with my friends...then to sit there in a house and
grow old..!!!" smiles Geno, and joins his friends.

then they aboard the airship.

"My Thoughts in My Mind.."
Geno and his friends is riding the Falcon and they're
discussing something..
"the pendant is very important." said Eter,
"Leene knew that she can trust you, Geno. you mustn't lose it!! if Chimera
have her hands on the pendant...the POWERS OF THE DRAGONS...she can destroy the
whole world..!! but i heard that there was a secret...if the pendant and the
sword are in the chosen one's hands, he will turn the Paladin Sword into its
ULTIMATE FORM..."
"...." Geno touches the pendant,
"Leene..." then he sighs, "what if Chimera knew about the
legend?"
"????"
"HER???? SHE'S JUST A QUEEN??? she doesn't look like she
really believed that legend??" said Lita
"i don't know...but i can feel it. Leene is in
danger." said Geno, then he shakes his head, "Cid, drop me off at
Death Island."

"remember what Xeros said about Chimera?? EVEN HE CAN'T DEFEAT HER. there

"let's just wait and practice our fighting skills for a

machines, it NEVER shuts down." said Neiken, then he ran away into
Jidoor.

follow him. in Jidoor, the whole place is worst than the last time they visit.
there's no clean air. no clean water. and no sun light. the only thing that
glows around here are the lanterns, and electricity lights..

"so what? the Factory supports us with electricity and
machines. if we moved, we won't survive out there. we DEPEND on the Factory to
live."
"and to DIE." said Geno, "are you all that
stubborn or just plain dumb?? NOTHING can live in this...CLOUD!! not even YOU.
if you don't move, your health will be in danger!!"
"...." the man didn't say anything, "but we
need the Factory."
"GRRRRR..!!!! C'MON GUYS!!! LET'S GO TO THE
FACTORY..!!!" said Geno, and they went to the Factory..
[CHUNKA CHUNK] the machines continue to work. they arrived at
the Factory. they could see the smoke from the 2 pipes caused the pollution. and
it have been like this for a long time..
"damn. i never missed this place." said

then they enter the Factory.
[CHUNK CHUNK] there are more machines than
before...
"humans...when will they ever learn?" whispers Eter,
very sad, "huh?"
not far away, a person is standing there, from his back. it's
Neiken..!!
"NEIKEN..!!!" smiles Geno
"WAIT Geno..!! SSSSHH..!!" shouts Eter, and they
hide.
Neiken turn around, "..??" then he ignored
it...
he is standing in front of the computers..in the main
center.
"YOU CAME BACK." said a voice.
the computer screen shows a woman...!! the computer
is...TALKING!!!!
"WHAT THE FFF..???!!!" freaks Geno, and covers his
mouth..
"yes..i came back." said Neiken,

"Neiken, have you finally decided to join us...join your
own family??"

"HMPH..!!!! YOU WERE NEVER LIKE THAT IN THE PAST..!!!
BEFORE...YOU MET HER..!!!" shouts the woman, "THAT PUNY
HUMAN..!!"
"her name is Patrichia. and she's not puny. she's very
strong willed and gentle...and i loved her." said Neiken, "before i
met her, i was like you. i was hungry for human's blood, and other life forms. i
was a MONSTER.."
then he shouts, "she changed me!! she made me a better
person..!! she taught life...and LOVE!!"
"...." the woman laughs,

"YOU'RE MADE FROM DNA OF HUMAN AND COMPUTERS...OR ME. you CAN'T feel

robots...and our dear creator, Chimera, WE'RE UNSTOPPABLE!!! we can destroyed

deserves death..including Patrichia..
....a young man enters the main center of the Factory. a woman
from the computer screens appears, "it's time to fullfill your purpose for
our leader, 0101 now, go. find humans AND CRUSH THEM." "yes,
mother." said the young man (Neiken) and left the Factory. as days goes by,
he kills whoever is in his view. even children...until one
day...
...."this place...a meadow." said Neiken, "no
humans in sight. i must be lost..?? huh?" not far away, a woman is picking
flowers from the fields. without hesitation, Neiken ran towards her..ready to
pull out his trifle and pistol..!! then he stopped, "..." he stares at
her. she's very beautiful, with clear blue eyes, and purple short hair. she is
wearing a dress, "oh..!! hello? you must be lost..??"
"...!!" "oh don't be afraid if you are!" smiles the woman,
and gets up, "i am Patrichia, daughter of Lois VI. and you are?"
"0101" "HUH???? WHAT'S THAT???" "it's my identity
number." "..??" blinks Pat, "[GIGGLES] you're funny!!"
"is that...laughter?" "yea. you're really lost, aren't ya?
c'mon...uhmm.." "..." Neiken hesitates, then he smiles,
"it's Neiken. the name is NEIKEN." then they
left..."
"..." Neiken lowers his head, then he shakes his
head, "HUMANS AREN'T ALL EVIL..!! THEY'RE JUST MISGUIDE..!!! THIS POLLUTION
MUST STOP...OR ALL LIFE IN JIDOOR..OR EVEN THE WHOLE TERRA WILL
DIE..!!!"

tears the enemy's belly as it attacks with its sharp beak, while Neiken pull out
his triple AND his pistol and shoot at the SAME TIME (150)

"NEIKEN..!!!" gasps Lita, and runs to check on
him..
"poor lad. his new special attack was suicide.."

"..." Geno lowers his head, "i could've saved
him..."
"save who?" said a voice.
"????!!!" freaks Geno, as a hand touches his
shoulder from behind..!!
it's Neiken, "THAT WAS
COOL, HUH???"
"NEIKEN..!! YOU'RE
ALIVE..!!!"
"of course..!! that attack was "DOUBLE HIT",
not "DEATH-MATCH"..!!" laughs Neiken, "YOU THINK I'M THAT
DUMB???"

"..." Neiken sighs, "so you all found
out.." then he closes his eyes, "Patrichia was the BEST THING that
ever happened to me. ever since i hang out with her, she taught me a new way of
life..but one day, she found out that i'm half-robot. she was upset at first,
but then realized if a human and robot can get along, so does the Factory and
humans. we went to convince my mother...but instead, my mother captured her, and
killed her instantly. i tried to recover her with all my healing knowledge and
strength..but no use. she slowly dies in my hands. ever since then, i realized
that i don't want to do this anymore. i don't want to be a robot. i just want to
be normal...like other people. for so long i've hidden this secret, never speak
of it again..."
"because you can't face yourself as a robot, a machine
made to kill humans..innocent people." said Geno, "and the past kills
you instead.."
"my mother and the others are not evil...they're
misunderstood." said Neiken, "but Chimera created them and programmed
them to hate humans...like her. she hate people SO BAD..there's a rumor she's
going to bring back the Death Dragon to WIPE OUT HUMAN
RACE."
"but why?? she's a human too??" said
Lita
"i don't know.." whispers Neiken, "i just want
to be a normal, chocobo racer. like my dream. but i know one day, i must return
to this horrible place..huh?"
Geno put his hand on his shoulder, and smiles, "you're
not alone, remember?"
"..." Neiken is surprised, then he smiles,
"HEY!!! WE GOT A SWORD TO FIND, DON'T WE??? LET'S CLOSE THIS FACTORY ONCE
AND FOR ALL..!!!"
then he walk toward the computers...
and press some buttons in there...
"Neiken.." whispers Lita, very sad..
then Neiken turn around, and smiles, "IT'S SHUT DOWN..!!!
IT'LL NEVER BE OPENED AGAIN..!!!"
the black cloud of dust disappears..
and people in Jidoor are able to see sunlight once again...and
wearing NO masks..!!
then Geno and his friends head for the
Falcon..
"..." Neiken stopped, and faces the computers in the
Factory...
.....
"goodbye...MOTHER." whispers Neiken, then he joins
his friends.
