"Is this moon a blasted landing pad or something?" Rita asked enraged. "Who IS this kid anyway?"

"I'm not a kid, I'm twenty-two." He answered. He wore dark tan khakis and a blue edged white shirt. "My name is Jarock." He answered.

"Twenty-two? I have Contac lenses older than you are." Rielik said. Jarock crossed his arms over his chest indignantly.

"Look I'm waiting for someone who is supposed land on earth. Now, I just want to destroy her and I'll be out of your way." Jarock said.

"Her?" Zedd asked.

"The Amethyst Ranger." Jarock answered.

"Oh, I've heard about her. She has that mirror thingy, right?"

"Right." Sophia answered. Rito sauntered in the room.

"Actually she's still looking for it." Jarock said.

"I thought I smelled something. . ." Rielik mumbled.

"That's pretty funny, Riley." Rito said.

"That's Rielik, you disgruntled henchmoron."

"Whatever, Finster said to tell you guys that some ship is coming toward earth." Rito informed them.

"That's her." Jarock said.

"Say, how do you know so much about this girl anyway?" Sophia asked.

"Long story."

* * *

"What the hell is that?" Brian asked himself, not that he wasn't used to being surprised anymore. The silvery ship flew from the sky and landed in the center of the park, the tip barely scraping the surface of the lake. He hid behind the cover of a bush and Ninja morphed. He jumped on the top of the ship, surprisingly it wasn't hot. A panel under him opened up and he peered in.

"Hello?" He called and leapt in.

"Hello." Brian stepped closer.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I'm take it your not too friendly." She said, and put out her hand. "I'm Kristin, otherwise known as the Amethyst Ranger."

"You speak English?" He asked.

"You were expecting maybe Japanese?" She hopped up a control panel behind her.

"So, you're a Ranger? Then why did you tell me?" He asked. She shrugged.

"Where I'm from secrecy isn't a big deal." Kristin answered.

"And where exactly are you from?" He asked. She studied him for a moment before answering.

"Earth, long story. How `bout you take me to the Power Chamber and I can explain everything there." She suggested.

"How do you know. . .forget it. Do you want to teleport?" He asked.

"In a bit, I want to walk outside for a second." Kristin answered. "Can you help me up?"

"Sure!" He answered and jumped up to the top of the ship. He reached a hand down to help her up. The second she grabbed his hand a dark blue light flashed throughout the ship. A blue ball clattered to the floor, with Kristin along with it.

"What is that?" He asked. She picked it up and stared at it.

"I've been looking for this for a while. It's the Sapphire Sphere." She answered.

* * *

"So what's going on?" Tommy asked. She sighed and began her story.

"A prophecy. I'm from another dimension of earth. You see, I just defeated Ivan Ooze, a villain from my home. Prophecy said that a new evil would arrive in two thousand years. That's why I was in my ship. It's a Zord and kind of a time capsule. My engine crystals can power the ship to soar at a super speed. On my ship earth years would pass for me like minutes. A century could go by on earth, while a day or two would only go by for me on the Cosmic Ship. I know it sounds confusing."

"Ivan Ooze? Where have I heard that name before?" Billy asked himself.

"So to make a long story short, I winded up here. I don't know how, I'm horrible with computers. " Kristin finished.

"So what's that orb you're holding?" Tanya asked. Kristin dug into her jeans pocket and pulled out a light purple crystal.

"Watch this." She said. She placed the purple crystal in a slot in the orb. Gold colored energy gathered in her hands and it solidified.

"It's a mirror." Kat said. Kristin nodded. The gold hand mirror didn't have glass, but the Sapphire Orb flattened out and was in its place.

"It's the Mirror of Clairvoyance. It can tell the future, or the truth." She paused for a second. "Sorta."

* * *

"Well, if it isn't the Amethyst Ranger." Jarock cooed.

"I'm flattered you remembered me, Jarock." Kristin said and hid her mirror behind her back.

"Don't think I can't see it." Jarock said and stepped closer.

"See what?" She faked. He lunged for the mirror. She let out a martial arts yell and backhanded him with the flat side of the mirror. Jarock stumbled back and held his head.

"You little.!" He yelled.

"I'm guessing you guys are close." Brian said after he teleported to the park after her.

"Were. We had a little fling back home." She corrected.

"Little?" Jarock asked seemingly hurt. "I asked you to marry me."

"Yeah, and then you stabbed me in the back." Kristin said. Four flashed of light entered the park.

"Oh, how heartfelt. I'm going to hurl." Zedd put a hand to his stomach in mock nausea.

"Oo, a mirror." Sophia smiled to her reflection. Rielik held out his hand.

"Hand it over." He demanded. She smiled defiantly, and raised the mirror to the sun. The dark blue surface reflected the sun brightly. The shinning beams of light flew right into their eyes; it gave Brian and Kristin time to teleport.

* * *

"I really hate good people. They're so. . ." Rielik began.

"Good?" Jarock asked.

"Exactly." He said.

"So what do we do know?" Jarock asked.

"You're new to this aren't you? We launch an attack." Rielik said.

"Rielik?" Sophia called. She entered the throne room.

"Yes dearest?"

"I have a plan!" She said excited.

* * *
"You can stay at my place." Kim suggested. "I finally got an apartment. It's actually right down the road from the park." Kristin smiled thankfully.

"Great, I just have to buy some clothes." She said.

"So who's this new guy?" Adam asked Zordon.

"He's really nothing to worry about. Just a wanna-be villain." Kristin answered.

"I'm heading home." Adam said, and pulled out a key chain from his pocket. "I just have to pick up my car at the Youth Center parking lot."

"Me too, I should get some sleep." Billy said. He knew he wouldn't fall asleep. He had constant dreams of Cestria. "Alpha come get me . . ." Alpha pointed to the door that led to his recharging room that he shared with Billy. Billy still refused to move out.

"Goodnight." Kat said to Billy and Adam. Each Ranger said his or her goodnights and teleported out one by one.

* * *

The sudden irate beeping of Brian's communicator took him by surprise. He gasped and shot up in his bed. He reached his arm down to the floor and grabbed his communicator that somehow fell off his nightstand.

"Sorry to be rude, but what is it?" He asked abruptly.

"I'm sorry to wake you Brian, but you are needed in the park." Dimitria said. It was then he glanced at his digital clock.

"Dimitria it's 2:00 am." Brian protested.

"I'm sorry, get dressed and teleport." She said. He sighed and tossed his communicator aside. He got up; it was then he that noticed the temperature. It was abnormally cold for an Angel Grove night. He immediately regretted not putting on a shirt. He didn't bother putting on the light, as to not wake anyone. He scanned the floor for something decent to put on. He grabbed a pair of jeans and a lightly stained white shirt and slipped them on. The sudden explosion of light startled him.

"Brian, where the hell are you going?" His father whispered hoarsely. He stood in the doorway; his left hand still rested on the light switch while the other held a tall glass of orange juice.

"Dad, I have to go." Brian said.

"You not leaving this house this early in the morning. DO you realize you have school in five hours?" His father demanded. Brian opened his closet to get a light jacket.

"I need to go. The other guys need me." Brian protested.

"Are you still on that Power Ranger phase? You delusional, get back to bed." Brian closed his closet and went to shut his window. He shook his head slightly. His father dropped his glass, spilling orange juice all over Brian's plush blue rug. Brian reached for his communicator and teleported.

* * *

"Wake up." Kim said, peering over the top of her new couch. Kristin opened her eyes and blinked several times.

"Morning?" She asked. And yawned loudly. Kim smiled warmly.

"Nope, trouble in the park." Kim walked over to her closet, nearly smacking into cardboard box a pulled out a white sweater. "You can put this on, it's pretty chilly." She suggested and tossed the sweater in Kristin's direction.

"This early?" She yawned again and ran a hand through her dark hair. Kim nodded and pulled out a jacket for herself.

* * *

"I wish I brought a jacket." Tanya regretted. An orb of light leapt from the ground and solidified in front of them.

"I am Weatherdame." Their newest monster announced in a ridiculously exaggerated valley-girl voice. Her voice fit her appearance. Her long mane of platinum blonde hair extended to her waist. On her head was the strangest looking weathervane they had ever seen. Kristin couldn't help bursting into a fit of laughter.

"That has to be the most ridiculous monster I have ever seen." She said.

"It's nice to see you too." Weatherdame said her voice still thick with her airheady accent.

"The feeling is mutual." Tommy said with more than a hint of sarcasm. The monster crossed her arms in front of her.

"Like, let's just get this over with." She suggested.

"I couldn't have said better myself." Brian suggested. They all pulled out their morphers, with the exception of Kristin who morphed with a purple tinted crystal. Dark green sparks entered the park, signalizing Xander, morphed, teleported.

"Like I was saying, let's get this over with!" Weatherdame sent a funnel of scorching air spiraling at the Rangers. Kristin, the Amethyst Ranger, flicked her wrist back. In purple light her mirror collected in her gloved hand. The monster send twin beams of energy from her eyes. Kristin turned her head and blocked the beams with her mirror. They bounced off and ricocheted back to her. The weathervane on her head spun rapidly as her height exploded. She cackled annoyingly.

* * *

Boulder-sized hailstones pelted against the windshield of the Ultra Megazord as it stomped through Weatherdame's storm.

"I'm to tired to deal with this now." Kimberly thought out loud. Each Zord moved in closer after the storm finally stopped. Weatherdame waved her arms once again and a barrage of fog clouds clouded their vision. From out of nowhere a silver Zord-sized ship flew down.

"Hi, guys." Kristin waved. Bursts of lasers burst of the twin cannons mounted on the sides of the ship.

"Damn." Weatherdame said wearily. The lasers exploded, as did the monster. Cheers filled the cockpit of the Zords as each Ranger teleported out and collapsed into bed.

* * *

Sophia sighed wearily and tossed her honey-colored hair. "Well, there goes another sinister plan down the drain."

* * *
"Quit shaking to ladder before I go down there and kill you!" Kim half-heartedly threatened. Tommy just laughed and shook the aluminum ladder once more. Kim looked own and tossed and empty stream roll down at him.

"Hey Adam, toss me the tape." Kim said. She caught the clear tape and finished off the dangling line of streamers.

"Done?" Tommy asked.

"All done." Kim announced. The entire Youth Center was decorated with yellow balloons, and yellow and white streamers. She stepped back and admired her work, and almost bumped into Billy who carried the cake to the center of the largest table in the Youth Center.

"So what was the cover up?" Brian asked.

"Adam asked her to come to one of his stunt shows." Tommy answered.

"They should be here in little while." Billy checked his watch after putting down the cake. Kat and Kristin ran into the Youth Center.

"Adam's car just pulled up into the parking lot!" Kat said.

"Quick, get the gifts in the back!" Kim pointed. She finished the final touches on the decorations while the others dragged in the gifts.

"Hi. . . guys." Tanya said as she stared dumbfounded around the room.

"You're a little early," Kristin said almost angrily, the laughed. "Happy Birthday."

"Oh. . .you guys are the best!" She ran up and hugged Kimberly and Billy, who were the closest to her, and then the rest.

"So, who wants cake?" Tommy asked, while spinning the knife like a weapon. Kim laughed.

"I'll cut the cake, before you cut your hand off. Tanya, you can open your gifts now, while I do this."

* * *

"Now the hard part is cleaning up." Kristin said. Bunches of wrapping paper were on the floor near Tanya's feet.

"You forgot mine." Adam said, a pulled a gold box from his shirt pocket.

"What is it?" She asked taking the box from him.

"It looks like a necklace." Kim added. Tanya opened to box to find eight slips of paper.

"What are these?" She asked. Adam smiled.

"Tickets to the prom. I got one for each of us. Mr. Caplan said he didn't mind."

"Well, that was nice of him." Kristin smiled.

"There are eight tickets, is Xander coming?" Billy asked, he didn't particularly feel in a party mood.

"No, he said I could give the ticket to Kristin." Adam answered. Kristin looked shocked but delighted.

"I be glad to go," She smiled.

"So it's next Friday, I guess that gives us enough time to get our stuff. I've never actually been to one of these." Adam said.

"Hey, I'm surprised. I figured half of AGH would be hunting you down to take them." Kim teased and lightly punched him on the shoulder. Adam smiled and blushed slightly.

"The Rangers were busy that night." Tommy answered.

"So, are we all going as a group?" Brian asked, and nudged Kimberly. He eyed her and then moved his right shoulder. Kristin was standing a few feet to the right of him. Kim opened her mouth slightly then nodded. He already talked to her before about Kristin.

"We can all meet at the restaurant." Kim suggested.

"So, Kristin, can I pick you up?" Brian finally asked after Kimberly elbowed him while getting up for a drink. She thought for a second.

"Okay, I'm staying at Kim's for a couple weeks. So about six?" She asked.

"Uh, great!" Brian said.

"Guys, I don't know if I'm coming." Billy confessed.

"Why not?" Kat frowned. He shrugged.

"I have some stuff to take care of." He said. Kim took a sip of her drink and sat down.

"Billy, you've been hiding to way many times behind that blue helmet of yours. You're going, and having fun or you'll have to answer to Alpha."

* * *

"Dad, I'm borrowing your car, OK?" Brian called to his father downstairs. He fixed his collar for the millionth time. His suit was plain. He was glad too, he hated dressing up. His pants, shirt, and jacket were all black.

"What's wrong with yours?" Mr. Thompson asked, while wiping his hands on a dishtowel.

"Somehow a dented white pickup doesn't seem overly romantic to me." Brian smirked. His father threw the dishtowel at him.

"Fine, just bring it back in one piece." He smiled and was about to leave.

"Hey, ah can I see your morpher?" He asked. Brian looked puzzle but flicked his wrist back. In a flash of pure light in materialized in his hand. He tossed it to his father. Mr. Thompson caught it and a crackle of electricity sparked.

"This is amazing." He said, and ran his finger over the engraved surface of the golden coin. He tossed it back to his son. In midair is vanished. "I'm not even going to ask how you did that." He said, and checked his watch. "It's ten of six. Shouldn't you go pick up Kristin?"

* * *

"Great, come in." Kim said. She ran back to her room to put on the earrings in her hand. "Tommy should be here soon." She called back to him. "Oh, and Kristin is in the bathroom." Brian nodded and switched the clear plastic box to his other hand. A loud knock on the door made Brian jump. He opened the door to find Tommy. He was holding a clear box containing a corsage, a pale lily surrounded by small white buds. He looked at the rose corsage he bought for Kristin and frowned. Kimberly finally entered the room. She went up on her tiptoes to kiss him. "You're hair!" She said. "You cut it! It looks like it did when you were the White Ranger." Kim noticed.

"You look great, too." Tommy complimented. Kim spun once in her sleeveless violet dress. She tightened his ruby colored bow tie.

"And you look handsome, I just have to get my shoes and the tickets." She said before vanishing again.

"You look amazing." Brian grinned. Kristin finally came out of the bathroom. She wore a dark blue dress with lace lining the top and two straps at the top.

"You look good in black." She smiled and tugged at his black shirt. She went to the refrigerator and took out a clear plastic box containing Brian's boutonniere. She tossed it to him.

"A white rose, how appropriate." Brian said. He handed her his corsage. "Hey Kim, we'll see you guys at the restaurant." Brian called to Kim who was back in her room . . .again.

* * *

"Perfect." Kim said. She tapped the rose pinned to his jacket and locked the door to her apartment. They stepped outside and he smiled at her. Tommy offered Kim his arm, which she gladly excepted after switching her purse to the other hand. She tossed her door keys into her purse.

"Sorry, but I couldn't get a Limousine." Tommy said. Kim ran up to the door of Tommy's blue pickup, and opened it. She bowed.

"Your chariot awaits, mousier." She smiled and shut the door behind him. She walked around to the passenger side.

"This is going to be great." Kim said, smiling widely.

* * *

"We're still waiting for Adam and Tanya." Billy said. Kat had just come in after him. Billy had said more than once, or twice for that matter that he didn't want to be there. His suit was like Tommy's, except with a blue bow tie and the rose pinned to his jacket that Kat got for him. Like a gentleman he offered to pick Kat up. Kat wore a plain dress with a gold sheen to it. She was the only one of the girls who wore their color. Brian glanced at his watch again and then back at the entrance.

"There're here!" Kim said. Tanya, in her jade colored dress finally walked in. Adam followed. Kristin stifled a laugh and pointed from Adam and then to Brian.

"Hey, look twins!" She said. Brian gawked.

"We must have gotten them from the same place."

"Just as long as we aren't near each other that much tonight." Adam said.

* * *

"Come on!" Kristin grabbed Brian's hand and pulled him up from the dinner table.

"No, please, I HATE dancing."

"You only have one Senior Prom, and I already missed mine." Brian exaggeratedly moaned and tossed his napkin back to the table.

* * *

"I'm going to hurl." Jarock furrowed his brow in disgust at the sight of Kristin and Brian dancing. He took his eye out of the Repulsascope.

"So have a little fun." Sophia suggested. She floated a few inches of the ground silently filing her nails. (Not that she's vain or anything ^_^)

"Such as?"

"Send a monster down, you dolt." Sophia said.

"Oh, right. I knew that." He covered. Sophia sighed silently and stopped levitating.

"Sure you did, kid." She stepped over to the Repulsascope and peered in. "All that show of affection is mixing violently with that pineapple pizza I ate."

* * *

"You're really nice." Kristin smiled; a slow tune filled the air. Kimberly and Tommy subtly danced closer. Kim waved and draped her arm back on Tommy's shoulder. Great, nice, I hate that word. The song finally ended, Brian excused himself.

"Where are you going?" Kristin asked.

"There's gotta be a vending machine around here somewhere. I need chocolate." He said.

"They look like they're having fun." Adam said motioning to the dace floor.

"Then let's go join them." Tanya suggested. She stepped out of her chair and stood up. Suddenly the music stopped, followed by groans from disappointed prom-goers. The lights turned off. A red flash entered the room, and a single beam of light focused on where the music was coming from. The strangest looking monster stepped forward. "Power Rangers, I know you are here. I am Dischanger, now show yourselves or I destroy this place!" The monster announced. By now the restaurant was swiftly being evacuated. Two beams of light cut through the darkness, one blue, and the other gold.

"You asked us to show ourselves." The Blue Ranger said, and he put away his blaster.

"And the monsters keep getting more and more ridiculous." The Amethyst Ranger said, while holding her mirror in her right hand. The Red and Pink Rangers stood at her side. The lights turned back on and a minute later the Yellow Ranger and the Green Ranger ran into the room.

"Looking for something?" The Green Ranger asked.

"No thanks, I just found it." Dischanger said and lunged for the Mirror of Clairvoyance in Kristin's hand. He grabbed in and shoved the Amethyst Ranger back to the wall. Dischanger pulled a CD-looking blade from his shoulder. A chair smashed into Dischanger's back before he could put the blade to use. The monster growled and teleported outside, with the mirror still in his hand. It teleported somewhere in a flash of light.

"Now, what I was busily doing until I was so rudely interrupted." Disc began. He pulled twin swords from his back and let out a growl. He lunged at Billy fiercely, only to have his hands knocked to the side by the Blue Ranger's Water Trident and kicked in his open side. A flying boomerang smashed into the monster, sending him sprawling to the ground. Disc grumbled something and stood up. Flying blades soared everywhere, slashing the Rangers violently. A thin line of blue light traced down from the sky and struck the monster. Dischanger growled, and his voice deepened as he grew.

"Ultra Knight Megazord, Power up!" The Rangers yelled in perfect unison. The Zords twisted into the formation. Pegasus and the Cosmic Ship arrived shortly after. The first thing Dischanger did was go for Kristin's ship. He obviously had orders from Jarock. The ship went down swiftly, it didn't have the right shields for battle.

"Alpha, I teleporting the ship to the Zord Holding Bay." Kristin said. She teleported into the Ultra Knight Megazord before her ship teleported, and stood in the back of the cockpit. Disc cupped his hands on the sides of his mouth like a megaphone and let out a paralyzing wave of sound. A blade smashed into the side of his head, and the Pegasus Zord rammed into it.

"Ultra Knight, Power Slash!" The Megazord's sword sliced through the monster. It exploded in a array of flames.

* * *

All of the Rangers were on the dance floor. Other slow song filled the air. Billy was finally having a fun time. Tanya was making he laugh every so often as they danced. Kat and Adam danced and laughed across the floor, and finally Kristin and Brian danced a few feet away from Adam and Kat talking.

"So when can we do something again?" Kristin asked. Brian was surprised she still wanted to be around him. He smiled broadly.

"How about Saturday?" He asked.

"Oh, excuse me." A pretty blonde haired girl apologized after bumping into Tommy and Kim. Her mustachioed date with dark hair pulled back in a ponytail smiled.

"Great prom, isn't it?" He asked.

"Yeah, great." Tommy smiled, and then traded a glance with Kimberly.

"Well, we'll be seeing you." The girl said, and went to dance with her date in another part of the room. The prom had long since regrouped. It was a now a little past midnight. Tommy looked at Kimberly again and furrowed his brow. They looked to where the couple was, the girl laughing happily.

"You don't think. . .?"

"No way." Kim said. They looked back and the happy couple was gone.
