"Why did we do a Universal Positioning test?" Carlos asked them.

"Yeah, I mean, we never do one of those unless something really bad is gonna happen..." Cassie said, then understood that it must be something serious.

"I just have an uneasy feeling that the attack on Rytan wasn't just a spur of the moment kind of thing." Andros said slowly.

"Well, what do you think it was?" Ashley asked curiously.

Andros walked up to the table and everyone waited for a response.

He finally said, "I don't know how to explain it but.... I just have this weird feeling that there is a lot more happening than we're aware of."

Everyone at the table exchanged glances. They knew Andros wouldn't say something like this unless he really felt like it was going to happen. So they all snapped into action.

"All right well, you and Zhane should fix the Mega Winger, we're gonna need it in tip top shape for a sudden attack. Cassie, Karone, and I will look over the results of the Positioning reports and look for any signs of mobilization. And Carlos and TJ can help us look over the reports and start scanning for any evil forces headed our way." Ashley said and everyone ran to where they were supposed to be, except for Karone, who walked slowly to the bridge.

"Need any help?" Cassie offered her.

"That would be lovely." Karone said with a smile and Cassie took one of Karone's arms and put it around her neck helping Karone walk onto the bridge.

"Thanks!" Karone chirped and sat down in a chair next to the Positioning reports.

She grabbed about 10 papers and leaned back in the chair, putting her feet up onto the control board, "Let's see what we got here."

She hummed for a minute, then went completely quiet. Her feet swung off the control board and touched down on the floor. Ashley and Cassie looked over at her. Karone's face had gone completely white.

"What's wrong? Did you find something?" Ashley asked as she and Cassie ran over to her.

Karone threw the papers she had in her hand over her shoulder and she searched through the hundred's of papers on the desk.

"What are you looking for? What's wrong?" Cassie asked concerned.

"Nothing. There's," Karone said while searching through the enormous stack of papers, "Absolutely nothing."

"What are you talking about?" Ashley asked her.

"There is absolutely no sign of evil forces. Anywhere. Period. No where." Karone said, desperately trying to find a paper that would prove her wrong.

"That's impossible! Today there were thousands of fighters near Rytan! Where are the reports for the Nebula Galaxy?" Cassie asked searching for them.

"They're right here." Karone said pulling out a sheet of paper that just had grid marks on them. But no colorful masses that showed evil forces.

Carlos and TJ walked over to them and looked at the papers in surprise, "Did DECA run out of color in her printer, or are there no evil forces in the entire universe." TJ asked.

"DECA is it possible that these reports are wrong?" Karone asked the computer.

"No Karone. Those reports are 100% accurate. They have been checked and re-checked 1,997 times." DECA told her.

"This is impossible." Carlos said looking over the papers.

"How can this be?" Cassie asked in awe as she looked over the rest of the papers.

"Get Andros in here. And Zhane. They're gonna wanna see this to believe it." Ashley said, still in shock.

"I can't believe it." Andros said, looking over all the papers.

"This cannot be true." Zhane said as he too observed the papers.

"Your sure there are no errors?" Karone asked Andros.

"DECA doesn't make any errors." Andros replied.

"You're not saying that these papers are true? Are you?" Zhane asked, giving him an odd look.

"I know it sounds outrageous but.... There's not other explanation other than.... All evil is gone." Andros stated.

"But Andros, this is ridiculous! There is no way that all the evil in the entire world can just... disappear without a trace!" Zhane laughed.

"Ok then, where do you think all the evil is." Andros asked him crossing his arms.

"Well...uh...ya know.... Um...." Zhane stuttered, then rolled his eyes, "There has to be some logical explanation for this."

Karone rolled her eyes now, and muttered, "Men are so stubborn."

"Huh?" Zhane asked, not hearing what she said.

Karone smiled at him sweetly, "Oh nothing."

"Look guys, there's nothing we can do right now. We'll just have to keep an eye on things." Cassie told them and stretched her arms.

"Cassie's right guys. We all need some rest." TJ chimed in.

"All right. That does sound like a good idea." Andros said and they all started walking to their quarters.

On the way Carlos commented, "Time to catch some Z's."

Andros stopped and looked at him funny, "How do you catch Z's?"

They all immediately burst into laughter and Ashley put her arm around his neck.

"I'll explain it to ya." She said and kissed him on the cheek and they walked down the hallway.

Zhane and Karone had stayed in the hallway, just standing there.

Finally, Zhane broke the silence; "You want to go to Earth for a while?"

She smiled at him, "Sure."

They smiled at each other and teleported to Earth.

Zhane and Karone were walking hand in hand along the beach in Angel Grove talking...

"So, Andros told you all about what happened to me. But I know nothing of what's happened to you for the past 14 years." Zhane said and smiled at her.

"Well, were would you like me to start?" she asked him smiling.

"The beginning of course."

Karone laughed and nodded her head, "Okay. I can do that. Well, I landed on Rytan a few hours after I was kidnapped. Their ruler, Thypan, took me in and raised me as," she stuck her nose up in the air, "Royalty."

"Ohhh.... I'm dating royalty, huh? Should I be on my best behavior?" Zhane joked.

"Nah. I caused way too much trouble so he had to send me to a training facility when I was 10."

"When you were 10??!!" Zhane couldn't believe it.

"Yep. I guess you could say they straightened me out there." She told him and they kept walking along the beach.

They were quiet for a minute, and sat down on the beach.

"So...So do you remember anything? From when you were little I mean." Zhane asked her nervously.

"Yeah, a little." Karone said staring at the ocean and smelling the sweet smell of ocean air.

"Like what?" He asked curiously.

"Oh just little things, flashes really." Karone said, still looking at the ocean.

"About who?" he questioned her.

Karone shot him a smile, "You mean, are they about you?"

Zhane smiled, "You caught me."

Karone laughed and leaned on him, and he put his arm around her.

"Do you remember when-" Zhane started but then stopped.

"When what?" Karone asked and sat back up looking at him.

Zhane shrugged his shoulders, "Nah nevermind."

"C'mon, what is it? I might remember it you never know." Karone begged.

"Do you remember when you fell over the ledge at the park? It was like, 2 days before you got kidnapped." Zhane asked slowly.

"That is one of the things I remember!" Karone said surprised.

"You're kidding!" Zhane, not believing her.

"No I'm serious!" she giggled.

"You are not!" he laughed and started to tickle her.

"Hey this is so not fair!" she giggled, rolling over so he couldn't tickle her stomach.

"No that's not fair! You're cheating! When someone tickles you, you can't roll over!" Zhane laughed and rolled her back over, only to tickle her more.

"Ahhh!! No!!" she laughed until she couldn't laugh anymore.

After a few more minutes of making her suffer, Zhane pulled her up and the stood up.

Their faces were only inches apart, and they were both serious now.

The inched their faces closer and closer together, but right before their lips touched Karone pulled back.

"What's wrong?" Zhane asked worriedly.

"Zhane, do you think that something bad is going to happen?" she asked him in a scared voice.

"No." He told her confidently, but she could hear a hint of denial in his voice.

"You're not too sure of yourself, are you?" she asked him, now looking scared.

"No, I'm not. I hated to admit it to Andros but, I have a feeling that something big is gonna happen soon too. And I think everyone else does too." Zhane admitted.

There were a few moments of silence, then Karone asked him quietly, "Are we ready?"

Zhane looked at her scared face, "Not yet, but we will be. Don't worry. Nothing bad is going to happen to any of us."

Zhane pulled her in for a hug and held onto her tightly.

"I hope we're ready Zhane." She said as she hugged.

Zhane took one hand and stroked her hair, "Me too...Me too."

"Andros?" Ashley asked as she walked onto the bridge and saw Andros sitting in his chair on the bridge all alone.

He turned his chair to face her, "Oh, I'm sorry. Did I wake you?"

Ashley quickly responded, "No, no. I was already up." She walked towards him and noticed the scanners were online, "You're still scanning?"

Andros shrugged, "Yeah, I couldn't sleep. So I guess I thought I should put my time to good use. Want to join me?"

"Sure." She smiled and walked over to the seat next to him and sat down, "How much have you scanned so far?"

She read all the readings on the radar and kept looking at the scanner readings, not noticing that Andros was staring at her all the time.

"How much have you scanned so far?" Ashley asked again, still not looking up from the radar screen.

No answer. She finally lifted her head up to see what he was doing, and saw him staring right at her.

She looked around confused, then asked; "Is something wrong?"

Andros got a somber look on his face and finally looked away; "Ash, what do you think about the whole Evil Positioning Reports thing?"

"I think it could be major trouble if we don't watch out." She said, and punched a few numbers on the radar screen.

"Me too." Andros admitted quietly, almost in a whisper.

"Andros, it's okay if you don't know what to do. Sometimes it's good not to have all the answers." She reassured him.

He just sighed and looked over at her again, "I just.... Don't want anyone to get hurt."

Ashley put a comforting hand on his shoulder, "We're all gonna look out for each other, Andros. We'll all be okay."

"But what if..." Andros started, but just finished with a sigh, "Nevermind."

"You can talk to me about anything, you know that right?" she asked him, concerned about his sad behavior.

Andros took her hand into his, and smiled, "Yeah, I know."

She smiled back at him and the both turned back to their work.

After a few hours of finding absolutely nothing, Ashley had fallen asleep with her hand in her arms leaning against the control boards. Andros was becoming a little groggy and looked over at her lying there.

*I've got to tell her, * he thought to himself as he watched her sleep, *I've got to tell her how much she means to me. Before it's too late. *

The next morning Cassie, TJ, and Carlos were eating breakfast and discussing the odd reports from yesterday.

"Everyone ready for another day of fun and exciting radar checks?!" Cassie asked in a mock cheeriness.

"Oh yeah," Carlos commented rolling his eyes, "Can't wait."

"Just another fun filled day on the Astro Megaship I guess." TJ said and laughed.

They sat there quiet for a few minutes, in an awkward silence while they ate breakfast.

Cassie broke the silence, "Are you guys getting an uneasy feeling about those reports too or is it just me?"

Carlos and TJ breathed a sigh of relief.

"I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels that way." Carlos said sighing.

"Me too." Agreed TJ.

"So, what are we going to do about it?" Cassie asked them.

"Well, there's not much we can do. Except keep a close eye on things." TJ said, pouring some ketchup on his eggs.

"And look out for each other. That's basically all we can do." Carlos said trying to tug the ketchup away from TJ.

"Hey, I'm not finished yet!" TJ scolded him and tried to get the ketchup out of Carlos's hand.

"You've got enough on there to be soup!" Carlos joked, still tugging on the bottle.

Cassie watched them fight over the ketchup for a few more minutes smiling to herself. Then she turned serious again.

"Guys, I'm serious. We could be up against something big here." She said completely seriously.

Carlos and TJ dropped the bottle of ketchup.

"We've got to do all we can, to make sure we're ready to face what ever it is we're going to face." TJ said to them.

Later that afternoon everyone was gathered on the bridge where they were checking all the radar screens to make sure those positioning reports were accurate.

"Ok let's start the test on sector 5.09 Planet Earth." Andros read to them off of a sheet of paper.

"Sounds good to me." Ashley chirped and punched in the coordinates, "Now scanning sector 5.09 on Earth."

They all continued to work until DECA's voice said, "Incoming Transmission."

They all exchanged confused looks and walked towards the front of the main viewing screen.

"Accept incoming transmission." Andros stated.

A few moments passed then an unexpected picture showed up on the screen.

Cassie caught her breath then whispered, "Phantom?"
