Note: I've changed the timeline a bit. In which Gunter Schmidt never came to Angel Grove, and Kim never left for the Pan Global Games. However, I've decided to keep Kat in, since she was a major key player when she was a villain, and when she turned good. I've made it that Kat helped get Kim's coin back, helped get Ninjor & the Falcon-Zord back, but never became the Pink Ranger, just a good friend & a trusted ally to the Rangers. Kind of like what Rocky, Aisha, and Adam were before becoming Power Rangers. Parts 1-6 were written by me alone. Parts 7 & up were co-authored by Sandy 'The Sandman' Riedinger.
Ricky approached his evil masters, and Goldar & Rito with an evil grin on his face. "Well, this certainly is an interesting predicament. I must be the luckiest guy in the universe to be here, in the presence of the greatest evil of all time. I am not worthy to be in your presence," Ricky then kneels before them. He then looks up at them with an innocent look on his face. "What must I do to prove my worthiness to you?"
"Please, do not kneel. If we did not think you were worthy of being here, we would not have brought you here." Lord Zedd explained to Ricky.
"And please Ricky, don't think of us are your masters, think of us more as.... family." Rita suggested.
"You mean like mom & dad? Cool, it could work." Ricky smiled, as he looked around his surroundings. "Fancy place, now I'm sure you guys have something really twisted cooked up for me to do. I can't wait to get my hands on those Power Rangers!! Especially that no good excuse for a twin brother, Tommy. You know, he had it easy, he's got great parents, great friends, a girlfriend that adores him, and I ain't got shit! The parents I got stuck with weren't exactly Ward & June Cleaver. My Mom was okay, at least she gave a damn about me. But not my old man. He was nothing but a fucking pathetic drunk. He got his jollies by beating the shit outta me. That's why I decided to come here, to find my brother, and kill him."
"And you will have your chance very soon my boy. Trust me." Master Vile told Ricky.
"I don't fucking care about soon, I care about now!!" Ricky shouted angrily.
"Well, I guess we shouldn't delay the inevitable, should we?" Zedd asked.
"No, we shouldn't sweety. Let's give our beloved son his present." Rita said to Zedd.
"You know Goldie, this guy is kinda cool. It's gonna be awesome to have this guy on our team, don't you think?" Rito asked his friend.
"He sure has a lot of spirit in him, I like that in a warrior. Fighting side-by-side with him will be a most..... memorable experience." Goldar replied.
At that moment Shogunar stepped forward and greeted Ricky. "You Ricky are to receive the dark Ninjetti powers of the Green Ranger. You already possess the darkness within you, and when you receive these powers, I will be your guide in teaching you how to master your powers & learn how to use them destructively. Are you ready?"
"Ready as I'll ever be. Let's get this over with already!" Ricky said impatiently.
Shogunar closed his eyes, placed his hands on Ricky's shoulders. "I Shogunar am taking you on a mental journey, a journey through the darkness of the mind, body & soul. I will be with you on this journey, to help you & guide you in anyway I can."
At that moment, both Ricky & Shogunar appeared in an area that is presumably a plane of existence formed by the mind. In this area of the mind, it resembles that of a dark battle field: Dark clouds in the skies, explosions, guns shooting, swords clashing, people fighting all around. Ricky saw what was happening, and smiled. "Hey Shogunar, what's happening? Where are we?"
"This is a mental recreation of a battle that took place long before you great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather even existed. You are on the battle field of one of the first battles that took place eons ago, when the battle between good & evil began. I have brought you here to see if you are indeed worthy of being the carrier of the Green Ranger Ninjetti powers. You must do everything you can to assist in defeating this army of good wizards & soldiers." Shogunar explained.
Ricky looked around, and saw the army of six good ninjas approaching. "They're coming!" Ricky shouted as he became surrounded by the army of ninjas. He began attacking them, always trying to keep his enemies in his sight. He landed a few kicks & punches at the ninja soldiers, knocking one down right after another. Ricky picked up a katana that was lying around, and used that and became engulfed into a sword fight with one of the white ninjas. The swords clashed, and finally he chopped off the white ninja's head. Two more ninjas approached from behind, Ricky didn't see them, but felt that someone was approaching. He picked up a nearby blaster, turned around, and blasted the two ninjas out of existence. "Gotcha!!" Ricky showed a devilish smile, he then placed the gun down, in order to continue the fight. Three more good ninjas remained for Ricky to fight against. The three soldiers stood side-by-side, and Ricky jumped in the air and knocked them out with a spinning roundhouse kick. Ricky raised his hands in the air, and flipped through the air. "THAT'S RIGHT BOY!!!!!! I'M THE MAN!! I'M THE MAN!! YOU SEE THAT, I KICKED YA ASSES, ALL SIX OF YOU ASSHOLES!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Just then, Shogunar approached him. "You've done well, you have earned my respect, and you have proved yourself worthy. It is my deepest pleasure, to place in your possession, the Dark Ninjetti powers of the Green Ranger." Energy began flow from his shoulders, to his hands, and into Ricky's body. Ricky began to feel the energy pulse through his veins, and his eyes began to glow with the dark green energy now coursing through his body. "Now, it is time to return to the real world."
With a thought, Ricky opened his eyes and he was back in the Chamber of Commands with Shogunar, Zedd, Rita, Master Vile, Goldar and Rito. He smiled as he remembered the details of his mental journey. "Look mom, dad, I did it. I have the power!!" He concentrated, and his body glowed with dark, fiery green flames, and those flames engulfed his body. After a few seconds passed, the flames wore off and left Ricky standing there.... dressed in the once lost Green Ranger uniform.
Zedd had his arm around Rita as the two of them looked in amazement at their adopted son, the new Green Ranger. Rita couldn't help holding back tears of evil joy as she watched Ricky transform into the Green Ranger. He will be the one person that will bring an end to the Power Rangers once & for all. "We're all very proud of you son. Now, my son, step forward." Zedd said to Ricky as he stepped forward to his foster father, and removed his helmet, letting his new long, dark green hair shine. He kneeled down in front of Zedd, as he placed his staff on Ricky's shoulder. "You Ricky are now the new Prince Of Darkness, you will be at my side as our new family takes over the Earth, and then the galaxy."
Ricky looked up, and smiled at Lord Zedd. "It is an honor I accept with open arms, father. I won't let you, or my family down. I swear this, on the power of darkness. No matter what, I will do my best to make you guys proud. Now that I have the power of the Green Ranger, the Power Rangers won't stand a chance."
Master Vile, Rita, and Shogunar came to Zedd's side. "Rise Green Ranger, lift your hand to the sky and accept the recreated Sword of Darkness." Master Vile said as Ricky rose his hand to the air, and Vile aimed his staff at Ricky, and shot out electrical energy at Ricky's hand. And suddenly, the Sword of Darkness appeared in the Green Ranger's hand.
"Thank you Master Vile! Thank you everybody! With my new parents, my new parents, and my new friend Shogunar, the universe will be ours! Hahahahahahahahahahaaaaa!!!!!!" He laughed as green electrical energy shot out from the sword in all directions. The others let out laughs of evil joy, as they released colorful streams of magical energy in all directions of the Chamber Of Commands. Looks like our heroes have a lot to deal with.
